We've never been in August before, but have a free place to stay (off site) so we can't pass it up!!

However, we will be travelling with 3 boys (5 1/2, 3 1/2 & 10 months). I know we need breaks, but staying off-site, will we really make it back??

I would REALLY appreciate any advice you can give me....

Hi Luvdiz,

I'd say if you're offsite in August a car would really help....

With kids that young and in August, you really will need a break, for the kids to cool down and rest, have fun. Will you have a car?

We stayed off site and we did just fine. I had a 4yo and one that turned 1 while we were there. I had never been before. We opened the parks each day and stayed until we thought the kids could not handle any more and then returned for the condo for r&r. We did not do as much as I would have liked, but I had a blast and would do it again.

I do not think we would have made it if we had tried to stay in the parks all day. We napped and went swimming everyday!

We do have a car (thankfully!).

I'm just wondering if we get there to open the parks, should we stay, have lunch in the parks then go back to the condo for some r&r. My concern is if we do that and it's 4:30, is it worth trying to go back. (it is for me personally, but with the three young ones, is that too much?)

My other thought is to get there early, have a snack around 11:00 or so and leave at 12:30, have lunch in the condo or on the way.

Just trying to get things organized before my PS time opens!!
