I agree with what everyone else posted. You just need to relax and enjoy the time on the ship. The rest is all secondary! As far as Palo, there is almost always space available once you get on the ship. Not a lot...but some. I think they actually keep inventory aside for those passengers who are not as anal and overly prepared as us DISers. Another thing to keep in mind...one of the waiters at Palo clued me in to the fact that there are almost always cancellations or no-shows each night. You can go get a drink at the bar at Palo without reservations...it's open to any adult on the ship. If you play your cards right, perhaps by asking the maitre d' if there have been any cancellations after a drink or two, you may be able to get seated for dinner without a reservation.
Whatever happens...just relax, don't try to do everything, and enjoy the Disney magic...on the Disney Magic!

Hi! Just a reminder that the FE Exchange sign-up cut-off day is tomorrow, July 15! If anyone gets upgraded before the cruise, please remember to change your stateroom on the list. If you are upgraded on the ship and you aren't comfortable putting a little note on your previously assigned stateroom (which I totally understand), we'll try to locate you anyway!

If is my understanding that they keep some Palo reses for booking on board so if you are close to first in line, you should be able to get a reservation for dinner. Also...even if you don't get on that first day, keep checking with the folks at Palo during the crusie, sometimes reses do open up.

We will be leaving on July 28 because we are doing the Nassau trip first and will not have use of the computer. If there are any big changes or meets ( I think the Meet and Greet is at 3 at the Promanade Lounge on Day 1) we will be in cabin 2052 for both cruises please leave a note in the FE on the wall. I just looked back on the facebook page and it says she was cancelling this Magic cruise to go on the Wonder in May. I have looked back on our DIS cruise thread but can't find anything from her on this board. I just commented on her post on FB to verify her status. Hopefully we hear back...

On this cruise there is no formal or semi formal night per say- it is called Dress Up night which I guess means something in bewteen- just a nice outfit I guess

I almost forgot and did it today -- card should be here by the 27th. They will NOT have a desk at the New York port terminal as they do at Port Canaveral for last minute cards and point transfers.
