You can either do one gift per person or one larger gift per stateroom, whichever you want to do. If you are doing per stateroom please make sure that you include a gift for each stateroom, not family. If you have two staterooms for your family then that would mean you would give two gifts as well as receive two, does that make sense? We have several families traveling with multiple staterooms. Welcome Colleen! I'm guessing from your post that it is DD14 and not DS14? That is confusing because your DS is probably 14 now but will be 16 on the cruise. My oldest two will be the same age as your oldest two! DD currently 14 begged for a cruise for her sweet 16th after seeing images of Vibe online. However due to my unwillingness to let them miss the first week of school, we are cruising a couple of weeks before her actual birthday. I don't know what DS12 will think of Vibe. Of course he will be 14 by then and that can make a huge difference. We did not take the kids on our cruise last August. They haven't cruised since 2007 and I don't think the younger two remember much of anything! It will be fun having some other teens in the group! DDnow14willbe16 is very social, DSnow12willbe14 not so much.

Haha, yes, my daughter will be 14 then. She too is very social. My then 16 year old son...in your words... not so much. So they will get along great. Actually, my son LOVED vibe, even though he is a real introvert. I think it was that all the kids were so nice, included everyone in the activities, and just hung out and talked. He couldn't wait to get there after dinner each night.

Welcome! I do enjoy the planning so at least we have plenty of time for that! My kids are also excited about the Fish Extenders. The younger two don't really remember anything at all about their last cruise! It looks like we will have lots of kids similar ages in our group.

Okay, let's get to know each other while we spend the next year and a half (+) waiting around!

Laura, we are from Utah, near Salt Lake City. It SHOULD be very cold and snowy but lately the temperatures have been in the 50s and no snow! We just had the driest December ever. I'm ready for some snow! I love going to WDW in the winter to get a nice break from the weather here, but DD14 is now a freshman and just can't miss school anymore.

DH and I have been married 20 years (we were high school sweethearts) and we have 4 kids. We try to go to Disneyland once or twice a year. I have been to Disneyworld 4 times I think? and on 2 Disney cruises, the 7 night Western on the Magic in 2007 with all the kids, and the 5 night Bahamas on the Dream with just DH and I for our 20th anniversary. I am good friends with jessica52877 on our cruise. We met on the disboards probably 4 years ago and have become good IRL friends going on Disney vacations together even though we live across the country. We met on the disboutiquers thread and if anyone is in need of cool or matchy shirts for the cruise Jessica is the best! We both love sewing clothes for Disney vacations! I will eventually dig up some photos...we've got 19 months to fill here...

Hi Jeanne! And everyone else! Jeanne is my bestie and we live millions of miles apart! At least it feels that way! I live in near Atlanta in Georgia and love going to Disneyland! Walt Disney World! Or on a cruise! I am pretty easily pleased! We just got back from the World the other day. It was SO busy Christmas week leading up to New Year's!

I have one kid, Dallas, whom is 9 and just found Wizards 101 on the computer. Darn Disney channel! He is loving it. I have been married to Lin for 10 years! He was NOT my high school sweetheart! LOL!

I am so excited for this cruise and really hope Dallas starts school the week we get back!!! I bought some fish extender stuff at Target last night! We were supposed to cruise this month but DH has inventory and couldn't go so I canceled it and couldn't just move the week since it was so last minute and prices were CRAZY!!

I do make tees although Jeanne can make awesome tees too and makes the most awesome dresses! I already know what we'll be wearing pirate night, the images are sitting right next to me. Having custom tees really seems to add to the fun for some reason!

Hmm, guess I don't have much more to ramble to about right now, must get back to work sewing!

I love the idea of getting to know each other … even if we have lots of months ahead before the cruise !!

We live in Italy – hope that you all will understand our “European” English !!
And in the last years could manage to return to the US every Summer , usually in August !! So far we have had many long trips to California, Florida , Hawaii : yes , we both are very fond of The Mouse !!! and lately we have developed a strong affection to Hawaiian Islands too.

My “grumpy” husband ( no, not really : he PRETENDS to be grumpy , he likes that character , but actually he is a very good husband – we have been married over 34 years now !!)

I'm not Jessica but I can tell you where that photo was taken! I believe it is the entrance to Epcot when you are walking from the boardwalk area. I recognize that bathroom. Once I was returning to the park with a large group of dismeet people (including Jessica) and we stopped there for the longest potty break ever! It seems once we thought we were done and could go, another kid decided they needed the bathroom! ahhh...memories.

Love your DGH! LOL! I thought he was the one in the middle until I read further! Yes, school started back this past Monday. If it hadn't we would have probably waited until after the New Year to hit Disney but Dallas (DS9) wanted to go for his birthday. it was the 27th and that was the day the picture was taken. Jeanne was right, we are at the back entrance to Epcot and we had a grand bathroom break there almost 2 years ago. Sigh....

A few of us are heading to Disney in a couple of weeks but Jeanne isn't coming this time. She is always my roommate and the trip won't be the same without her.

We didn't hit too many parks. Too many people but did do Epcot, Legoland and Islands of Adventure and Universal. On most days they were closed by noon. Harry Potter was a joke!! We hardly rode anything because of the lines but we had a great time! I can go to Disney and not go into a park and not ride a ride and be perfectly happy!

I loved the virtual port hole video. Do you have an inside room this time or outside? Sorry if you said already and I missed it. We always did inside but our last room we booked as a cat 12 gty and they upgraded us to 9. I don't think we'll ever go back to an inside room. Best thing Disney ever did! They'll get more and more $ out of each and every trip now! They are so smart!

I wish my DH could make videos. He loves the computer but only likes playing around on it.
