August 29th, 2010 - Wonder Cruise!

Just writing to say Hi! My family and I are joining everyone on this 4 nighter. This will be our third cruise with Disney. The other two were 7 days so this is our first trip on the Wonder. It will be me, DW, DS and DD (both almost 9 at time of sailing).

We will be staying at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge starting on the 25th until we sail. We can't wait and look forward to keeping in touch with everyone here.

We are going on the August 12th one and we are pushing it because we also booked the August 23rd Wonder to Alaska. A new ship, a special itinerary - too hard to choose between the two so we decided to do both.

That's the way to go!

We're staying the 18th to the 29th, so probably the same days as you!

It's okay, haha! I'll still be going to Disney for those days above, so that will be great, and there are more cruises in my future, which is exciting. I'm only sad that I don't get to go on the Wonder and experience a smaller ship before I go on the Dream.

No worries! Haha. A lot of people actually will go take a college class so they can do the college program - there have been 60 year olds who have done it before!

It's the Disney College Program - you take a semester off of school and go work for Disney for 4-7 months in various roles.

By my count its a 114 days till we are all cruising......

I am so excited - and it's still so far away - it feels like slow torture!!!!

I think I'll watch the cruise dvd and torture myself some more.

No I didn't get an upgrade ... I got the next best thing ....
a 92% on my Motor Science Final
a 88% on my Dysphagia Final
a perfect score 100% on my Biology Final
and a 98% on my Articulation and Phonology Disorders Final!!!!!

If you DON'T want to do it and no one else wants to do it, then I can do it! We will be on the Wonder on the Aug 26 cruise as well and I am doing the FE list for that one as well. So no problem for me!

I definitely don't mind doing it, but it's up to you! I've never done this before... (and I'm going to have to wait until May to do it anyway, since I'm not even going on the cruise anymore, haha).

So your choice - if you really don't mind, that'd be cool, but if it's a hassle, I'll do it, since the rest of my family is still going.

This Monday is the first day to set up reservations for your extras for most of us (1st - 4th DCL timers)... So if there is something you really really wanna do (Palo or a massage) remember to book now !!! Stuff fills up fast!!!
