Has anyone had good luck with two way radios or walkie talkies on the ship?

I read a thread on the main boards a while back that said they work ok short range maybe a deck or two apart, but from one end of the ship to the other, not so good because of all the metal in the ship.

We will be taking our Motorola two ways with us. They worked fine on our last two cruises on and off the ship.

If anyone needs a hotel for Saturday night after debarking, I just got a great rate of $48 a night on hotwire for the Hyatt at the airport. I'm looking forward to staying there. Heard a lot of nice things about it.

Its official I am out of Adult size bracelets Currently there are plenty of Yutes sizes left.

I cant help but laugh everyt time I type "Yutes". All I can think of is Fred Gwynne in My Cousin Vinny

Hi, we will be joining you all on Aug 29th. Have been lurking for a long time but no room assignment until tonight. It just didn't feel like we were really going until I saw that GTY change to an actual room number

This is our 5th cruise on the Magic although the last two were 2 week repo cruises so it has been a while since we have done the Caribbean.

Welcome LotsofBoys - That could be my name too. I have 16, 14, and 11 year olds. My older 2 will be glad to see some more boys their age. My boys will spend most of their time on the sports deck playing basketball and throwing the baseball. Are your sons interested in sports.

I will also have an extra adult sized bracelet if someone needs one. Dh isn't big on things like that, only his disney crazed wife and kids! So if someone still would like one, we could give up one of ours too. Our last cruise I ordered one for him, but he only wore it the first day for a few hours, then he was done with it.
