Disney Magic 08/29/15
Disney Dream 06/01/12
Disney Wonder 05/30/10

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :beach:
Have a great cruise!

Hi! My DH and I booked this cruise. We are going without our children. It will be our 7th Disney cruise and our first Med cruise. I am super excited :yay: obviously since I looked for a cruise meet and we are still 491 days out. DH is still not convinced we are actually taking this cruise but I am going even if I have to drag my mother along instead of mu DH! I suppose I have a very LONG time to convince him!

Haha! I know what you mean about being excited! I figured it would be our only chance to go on the Med cruise (since we are stationed in Germany) so we decided to go for it! :cool1: I can't wait to get a group together for the fish extenders. My daughter and I participated in that while on the Dream and we really enjoyed it!

I am already counting down the days until we go :)
We had our first Disney Cruise in February on the Magic and we are definitely hooked. We have crazy airfare from Canada to wherever the cruise is so I figured Europe would be an amazing choice.
My daughter will be 11, and my son 8 when we go. We loved the FE and will definitely do it again :)

Hello glad a thread has been started :goodvibes

We are also booked on this cruise, we will be taking our 18 month old daughter on her first disney cruise. We are from the UK so this is just a short flight for us :woohoo:

Hopefully planning a little trip to disneyland paris next spring so DD will be comfortable with the characters :hyper:

Hey there. My son (who will be 12 by 8/2015) and I will be joining this sailing for our 8th Disney cruise. We also plan doing a B2B once they announce the WBTA. I am very excited...I've never been overseas before!

We stayed with my DH cousin for 2 weeks when he was stationed in Germany. Loved it but I did miss American ketchup with my fritz and milk. I couldn't even tolerate the milk in cereal. It tasted like evaporated milk. :crazy2:

Hahaha! I am am so very glad that we can get American ketchup in the commissary or I would go into withdrawals (or have to get it shipped from the states)! :)

Hi :) I am on this cruise as well (it will be my 7th Disney cruise) and I'm bringing my Mom who will be on her 2nd Disney cruise. It will also be her first trip out of the country (I don't count the first cruise she took, we only went to Castaway Cay).

I'm really looking forward to the trip and I'm thinking of staying a few days extra either before or after the cruise.

We are looking at extra days too. I think we are going to fly into Paris and tour for a few days before taking the train to Barcelona.

Now that idea has potential. Especially if we spent a few days at Disneyland Paris before the cruise... How long does it take the train to get from Paris to Barcelona? Are you thinking of flying out of Paris on the way back or out of Barcelona? Does that make the flights more expensive because it's not really a round trip?? I have no idea on any of this, but it sounds interesting!

I'm watching the flights. So far the flights to Paris are much cheaper than Barcelona. The train ride is about 6 hours overnight in a sleeper car for 79 euro.
I was looking at London too. London to Paris is 2 1/2 hrs and 39 euros. There are so many possibilities.
If the prices hold and it will save me a thousand $ I will take the train back to Paris again and fly home.

I would recommend looking at low costs airlines between paris and Barcelona too - easyjet is one of the biggest in Europe.

I would totally recommend a trip to paris its a beautiful city, disneyland paris us great too, the cast members are far more European though.....put it thus way th customer service is generally very French :rotfl2:

Another low cost airline in Europe that I have used several times is Ryanair. Both Paris and London are fabulous, so either trip will be worth it! :)

Well, the WBTA is not subsequent to this sailing, so a B2B is out of the question. I don't know what The Magic is doing during those two weeks, but this girl right here is changing her plans. Alaska/Hawaii B2B it is!!!

Hi All :)

I've just swapped us from the Mexico 5 day cruise, to this sailing today! :cool1:

I've been looking at going to Rome & Naples for a while, and we got a good (ish!) price in a 6A cat cabin so swapped us over.

We are only 10 minutes from Liverpool Airport too, so hoping to get cheapy flights with Easyjet and fly into Barcelona a few days before to explore the city before the cuise.

So far away currently, but so nice to look forward to some more Disney next year given OH said a big FAT NO to WDW again next year.

Hello Everyone,

I have signed up for the 2015 DCL Spain trip. My first European cruise with Disney. Hopefully, everything works out that I am able to go.

Has a Facebook page been set up for this group yet? ºoº
