August 28, 2010 Pirates of the Barbary Coast - 11 nights in the Mediterranean

Just checked the 10 day forcast for a number of our ports and it looks like temps are going to be in the mid/upper 80's in most ports but up to the mid 90's in Tunis. So bring the sunscreeen and light weight clothes.

Finished cleaning the house. And now I have the task of packing. I can't believe I waited till now to start.

If I don't get back on line, everyone have a safe trip. See you on Sunday!

I started packing for myself today and it already seems like so much! I dont know how we are going to fit 11 days of clothes for 4 people in 4 suitcases! It didn't seem like so much on paper. Now I have to get my daughters to get started, they are always last minute packers and it makes me very nervous.

Safe travels to everyone who is lucky enought to be leaving now. We aren't leaving until Friday and we have work and band camp until then. See you soon, Karyn

LOL Eva - i was just thinking i really ought to start packing!!! I made my packing list 3 weeks ago and still have 2 empty cases sat in my kitchen!!!
Just finished my FE gifts - they'll be the first thing in my case!! Priorities!

Will try and remember the meet on sunday - i am the ditsiest person i know though!!

Very excited now!

We are on the September 8th cruise and have a favor to ask: Once you find out the cabaret acts for the second half of your cruise can you please post them or PM them to us. I would think the acts that close your cruise will open ours.

Glad to see that there are others still trying to get into packing mode. I am still have a time getting it done. Things are strewn all over my bedroom right now. I totally understand about remembering the meet. I have forgotten them in the past. Often we get caught up in doing something and just forget.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of those people who dropped gifts in our FE - it really made my 6yo cruise - he got so excited to check every time we went back to the cabin. Hope everyone had a great time. I did indeed forget the meet until about half 11 on the Sunday - i was gutted then for the whole cruise wondering if people i passed were DISers! I didn't take advantage of the booking on board but now i wish i had bc we are contemplating a shorter cruise next summer.
Janie we did look for the Toy Story print but i couldn't see anything like what you might have meant. I didn't actually go to the art auction though so someone else may be able to help
