Lisa,

I don't think you sent the info. It can be sent to my email address at pjblank@msn.com. Although Nick's baseball season was over 2 weeks ago, Alex's is still going on. He has 5 games this week. Plus an All-Star game on Saturday. Then that should be the end for him. :cheer2:
I am going to the DisMeet on Saturday that is here in Allentown. I am really looking forward to it. :cool1: Hope to pick up some great tips for the cruise.

I am working on my door sign- I cannot believe that we are at the 6 week and counting mark.
I think we should get a meeting together before the drill. Anyone up to meeting in studio sea before we sail??
Cathy

Ok, just to get things rolling. I took Wendy's initial list of cruisers (posted below) and used it to start up our website. You can find it at: www.graenit.com/cruise06.htm . It's not much, but it's a start.

I'll post whatever you think should go up. Just send it to me - pictures (of people or door magnets), the time and place of the pre-cruise meet and greet (once we figure out where and when) - etc. I can handle files in just about any format - here's my email address: esteri@graenit.com . Be sure to put "8/26 Cruise" or something like that in the subject line as I make a practice of deleting email from people I don't know without opening them. Unless, of course, the subject line indicates an appropriate topic.

Thanks for starting a website. I'll send some info. Any decisions about a meet on the ship?

Anyone going to WDW before?

DD and I started drawing out our door sign today. We spent about an hour walking around Michael's on Sunday looking for stuff and getting ideas. We ended up with lime green sheets of polyfoam, puffy paint pens and large Disney stickers.

Yeah. See you all soon.

Lisa,

I saw your post in the regular forum. Looks like some groups have many activites planned! It seems that 3pm on boarding day has worked out for others. I like the idea of meeting near the Mickey pool.

I asked on the regular forum, and received many replies. Here is a link (I hope it works!). (Just cut and paste it in your browser. I couldn't make it a "link".

I like the idea of meeting at Topsiders/Mickey pool after boarding as the kids can hang in the pool while we can grab some tables. Any ideas??

Lisa

Let us know the time and place and we can go from there. We may just hit Parrot Cay to eat though because I want to sit down and not have to jockey carryon stuff, finding a seat, etc....

We have early 600 pm dining. Although I think all early ones say 6 though...

 Hello to all, a little late jumping in, but as they say, better late than never. I am doccath's bff. I am sailing with my two sons, 13 and 11. Getting very excited! Have been reading back posts, anyone with boys their age? If you're comfy, they could exchange emails. :artist:

Hi everyone. Checked my online reg and we've been changed to main dining. Yeah. No upgrade though...

DH and DD got their passports in the mail this week. Just waiting for mine now...

Who's in main dining and who's in late?

Did we make a final decision to meet by the Mickey Pool at 3pm?

See you all soon.

Better late than never, right? We're finally getting a chance to get really excited about this trip! :cool1: Myself, DH, DD-11 and DS-10 will be going on our second Disney cruise. Last one was land & sea in 2002 and the "sea" part was only 3 days and it's just a blur... Looking forward to seeing everyone. I read a lot on this board, but don't write much... I'll stay tuned to this thread, though!

(I need to work on a good signiture, some people are SO creative!)

Hi Princess Dottie! My DS is 13 (first time in the teen club!). If your DS13 would like to e-mail with him, he would be thrilled to get to know someone his age before the trip. PM me if you would like to do this.

Will magnet tape work on the stateroom door? Working on my door sign and was curious?

Yes, the magnet tape will work - the doors are metal. I printed my signs on magnetic paper last year, and I'm doing the same for this cruise.

One more sign question (I think) will magnet tape work on foam? Will it hold it? I found Dis green foam and wanted to use that?

I bought the same thing! I haven't tried the magnet tape to see if it will stick, though. I guess if it doesn't stick well, you can use the glue that's made for foam sheets. I'm also finding that Elmer's glue pen works well on the foam, but a lot of paper stickers don't stick well.

Can't wait to see your sign. I'm going to try to finish ours this weekend.

I am getting so excited! My BFF, docath, has an excellent pirate wench costume, so I think we'll go matching, but I'll wear a different color. Now we need to work on the kids' costumes, and our door sign. Got so many great ideas here and had a ball in Home Depot going thru the paint chips. My boys were so funny, thinking I was stealing them, "you have to pay for those Mom!" :rotfl: Half the fun is getting ready for the trip! I actually just purchased some new makeup, couldn't tell ya the last time I splurged on myself! :cheer2:
