Is there a meet and great scheduled, sorry there's just so many posts that it would take me a full day to read them all!

The plan is to meet at 3PM on the first day, location yet to be determined.

Pudo, I respect your opinion. I, however, find FB is an interactive tool to keep me connected to family and friends that I would not have the time to engage interactively via other means. In addition, I have learned how to use FB to supplement my income posting for authors and musicians to keep their fan base involved with the artists. That's your choice if you choose not to utilize it, but for those who would like to learn how to productively use the FB tool, I would be glad to help them learn. We can connect on the ship at the meet, for those who are interested.

When I was a kid my parents would tell me to stop watching TV and go outside and play. The TV was called the “B o o b Tube” since it made B o o b s out of those who catatonically stared at it endlessly. Hindsight being 20/20, my parent s could not have been more right.

FB is the present day B o o b Tube and our greatest distraction from what we should be doing. As much as I think that FB is our greatest time waster there are moments like now when meeting nice folks like yourself via FB would be fun.

My daughter is currently going to Girl Scout camp, she is having a blast. The camp posts pictures on the Internet, and of course to my dismay, they use FB so I reluctantly log on to view the photos.

I do appreciate the offer for a FB 101 class, but FB is an “unproductivity tool” (made that word up) so I don’t really have any interest.

Funny as I tried to post this message I find that the word "B o o b" is sensored by this forum so I had to separate the letters.

Come on you two...FB can be your friend! I will be posting throughout our cruise. I'm holding "FB 101" each day of our cruise in the Internet Cafe (not sure what it's called on the Fantasy). Let's plan to meet each morning...I'll have you all FB savvy before the cruise is over...I promise! Social media is a big part of my job and I have embraced the go side and avoided the bad. It'll be fun before you know it and you'll be wondering how you stayed connected without it!

Sorry, guess I am an old dog. I really don't like social media and this board is about the only group I post to. I do appreciate the offer for 101 learning, though I still most likely will not FB user.


Another Saturday down before our cruise!
Worked on FE gifts today and printed out some magnets. What fun. I may mail my gifts. I think I didn't it would be as much as it is turning out to be.

We did our cruise meet on the Dream at the Vista Cafe on Deck 4. There is a coffee bar there (for a fee) and they also had snacks there (no fee).

I only use Facebook as a means to talk to friends and family. It's the way I got to see a photo of my brand new cousin born just three days ago, see my nephew camping with the Boy Scouts and see my niece graduate from high school. Also, I found that if I wanted to maintain a relationship with my teenage nieces and nephews, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr are going to have to be a part of my life, since social media is all a part of their lives. I expect that they will likely be a part of my kids lives someday too, so I taught myself about these things so that I could monitor what they are doing on the internet and make sure that they are using social media in a safe and reasonable way.

I don't play games on Facebook, or check it obsessively, or status post my every move (though if my kid says something ridiculously funny, I will share that with the family so they can have a laugh that morning too!).

FE shopping was done this weekend. My DW is looking forward to the FB 101, me, I am looking forward to being Phone, fax, computer, and email free for 7 days! lets see how that really works out.

So excited...we leave exactly 3 weeks from today to start our vacation. Off to the parks for 3 days before the cruise.

Could you re-post the FB link? I cannot get it to work. I think it worked for me last week, but I can't access it now.

On a different note, Lexi's summer homework is almost complete, her uniforms for school are purchased, all supplies bought, now to finish the FE gifts!

You all were so incredibly kind to me that I completely changed the whole idea of the FE gifts. Now I have all the items, just have to put them together. Whew...I know for a fact we are all going to enjoy relaxing on this cruise!

Cannot wait to meet you all!!

Not being a handy family, all of our FB are store finds. We are going to put the packages together on board. We are going down on the Monday (travel day) 4 days in the park, then transfer to terminal on the Saturday. The kids keep packing bags full of toys and leaving them by door, DW puts them all away. Kids repeat bags reapear.

Between White Caps, Sea Treasures and Mickey's Mainsail you will have plenty of opportunities to spend money so tell Erin and Sarah to leave their toys behind since they will need room in their suitcases for all the new ones Daddy is going to be buying.

Still haven't received our cruise documents yet but that's not unusual. We usually get them after everyone as they are sent to our TA who then sends them out to us.

But, we did receive our Magical Express tags today for our pre-cruise stay at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

It's only 23 days to go until we are flying down into MCO.

I know I agree completely. Getting soo excited. Now the real countdown begins
