We moved to a slightly larger cabin...so if anybody wants a great cabin on 2, it's now open. :)

My husband and I are celebrating our anniversary on this cruise. I just upgraded us to a category5B room 6082. I think he will really enjoy the private verandah.

Congratulations:thumbsup2 Does he know or are you surprising him :confused3

On our last Eastern Carribean cruise my mom and dad booked a SPH on the Magic and I upgraded them to a veranda:) They thought DCL had put them in the wrong cabin.

It is his Valentines Present. I am going to surprise him with a couples massage and then dinner at Palo. He loves fishing so I was going to look into a fishing trip for him. I am just really nervous having him go alone when we are in port.

Happy Anniversary to you guys. We are also the 26th. We are celebrating our 22nd. I am looking into the couples massage and then dinner at Palo.

That sounds like a great Valentine's Day surprise:love: I think that there is a fishing excursion at Castaway Cay that he might like and since that is the last full day he may be able to take his catch home with him.:thumbsup2

Awesome. Thank You. I will look into that. I wouldn't freak out if he fished there. All I could imagine is him fishing while in port something happening to him and me being on the ship that departs without him.

What a coincidence. We will be celebrating our 40th. I am hoping to get Remy for the 26th (or another night), but will try for Palo if Remy is unavailable. DH doesn't like massages. I got one onboard last year and I like my massage therapist at home better. (My massage therapist works for the salon I work at and I get a discount, but tip him extra. He always says I tip him too much, but I tell him I paid 3 times as much for the massage onboard including tip and he is sooooo much better. Plus he doesn't try to sell me anything after.)

Good luck on getting Palo and the excursions you want.:thumbsup2

My family is staying at the MCO Hyatt the night before the cruise and then taking DCL Transportation to the port. Anyone else have the same plans:confused3

We've stayed at the Hyatt and loved it. The pool there was great. Our girls really wanted to spend a few days at DisneyWorld before the cruise so we are arriving on Thursday and spending 2 nights at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Most of the people in our group have never stayed there so it should be a real treat for them. We're picking up a car on Friday afternoon at the National Car Rental near the Magic Kingdom and driving to the port. We plan to stop and pick up some beer and wine to take on the ship..

I love using National Car Rental's Emerald program. Being able to walk up to a car and go is great:thumbsup2 We are renting for the day to go to the store and stock up before the cruise and maybe visit DTD for dinner.

Are you paying to park your rental at the port lot because I don't think National has a office in PC anymore:confused3

Happy Valentines Day to everyone:love::love::love:

I hope you all are having a great day:cool1:

Just two more days before the Fantasy leaves for New York!

Wow, there are a lot of anniversaries. :) Congratulations to all who are celebrating!

I like the Emerald Program as well and used it last year to pick up a car for a day trip. We are planning to return the car near the port. My reservation shows the return point 2 miles from the port and the office is listed on the National website. I will call them tomorrow just to make sure. Thanks for passing along what you've heard.

Getting more excited!!! Has anyone ever done the Tortola Dolphin Encounter? I am considering doing it with my DS4.

I would love to hear what excursions you are planning to do with your family!

Please let me know if they have re-opened a office in cape canaveral. The last two cruises I have used budget and was not happy with their shuttle to the port:headache:

Both times it took forever to get there. The first time I dropped off the family at the terminal at the port and they were already calling our boarding number when I got back to the terminal.

The second time, budget only had one shuttle running to the terminal since only the Dream and Sensation were in port. We got to Budget at 10:00 a.m. and didn't get on the Dream until 12:45 p.m.:scared1: And that was because we had to get private transportation to the port.

I just called the National rental site in Cape Canaveral and they are open. The lady said they provide shuttle service on days the ships are leaving every 15 minutes. The location is listed as Cape Canaveral, not Port Canaveral. It is about 2 miles from the port.

Here's the scoop regarding National and Alamo car rentals in Cape Canaveral. I had to check because I thought I was loosing my mind about National not having an office at the port.

The site where you drop off your National or Alamo car is actually a Enterprise Car Rental place. They have an arrangement where you can now take National Cars to Cape Canaveral and the Enterprise shuttle will take you to the ships.

The Enterprise shuttles are much larger than the Budget shuttles and it seemed like they had twice the number of shuttles than Budget. Now this over obsessive vacation planner can relax:rotfl:
