This is our first Disney Cruise and first MC. Only been on one other cruise before on Royal Caribbean.

I have so many questions!


1. Pirate Night? Do folks go "all out" for this?

2. Will we need to get tickets for shows ahead of time?

3. Since I want to be sure and eat all our dinners as a family, are the adult-only "fancier" restaurants open for lunch?

I'm really looking forward to meeting some disfriends!

How do we find out when Pirate Night is and what the dining room rotation is? That might help me when making reservations....

Pirate night will be Monday night, after the first Castaway Cay stop.

You won't know your dining rotation until you after you check-in at the terminal and receive your KTTW cards. The dining rotation will be noted on the KTTW card in abbreviation format. There will also be dining 'tickets' in your stateroom with the rotation on them.

Hi- Try calling DVC member service and ask them about the restaurants rotation, they may be able to help. All I can tell you in advance is that for the four night cruises one the restaurants repeats. Last year we went on the disney dream four night to Bahamas and they were able to help me with such info. It does hurt to try

Thank you. I will call. I figured I'd try to make my dining reservation on one of the repeat nights. I'm a first time cruiser, so I will have to wait till 75 days out. I want to make sure that I get to eat in all the dining rooms at least once. Does anyone have a favorite dining room? Also...I think I'm leaning toward Remy instead of Palo if we have an adult night.

Unless something has changed, the first 2 nights will be in the same dining room. The first night (Sunday) will be regular rotation menu, second night (Monday) will be Pirate Night, third and fourth nights will be regular rotation menu.

I have not done Remy yet but I have to say on my first Disney cruise on the Dream, my DH and I had dinner at Palo and it was amazing!!! The second cruise on the Wonder we went to Palo for Brunch. DH loved the brunch better than dinner but I'm the other way around. In fact....he wants to do brunch again!

Love both restaurants! Palo brunch has a fantastic chicken parm and at dinner the chocolate soufflé, yum. Remy is an amazing dining experience- but plan to be there 3 hours. Can't wait to go back! Happy planning
