August 2015, it's early but who's with me?!

I'm jumping on this bandwagon, planning a trip starting Aug. 24th for probably 4 nights! It will be my boyfriend's first Disney trip EVER and we are both super excited! Before I go wading back through this whole thread are there any discounts out there yet for that time frame that anyone is aware of? Thanks so much! :flower3:

On the resorts forum look for this
Magical Deal at the Poly for 2015
sorry I don't know how to post the link.
The thread is closed but there is good info on it not just for the Poly.

Thanks so much! Going to def check this out. Not sure if it will work for me because it seems like it's only good for deluxe and I'm not sure we'd be able to swing that even with a discount, but thanks for the info!

That's what I thought to but you may be surprised! We are staying at WL Aug 14-23.

I never thought I would be able to stay Deluxe either. Look into it. It's really am aazing deal.

Thanks guys! I did get my quote and it is an AMAZING deal! Still think it's a little over our budget right now as we're also planning on doing Universal and some other stuff in Florida, so I'm thinking discount at a value will be the way we go, but man is it a great deal!

Last year it looks like there was a general public room-only discount of 20-30% off that covered the dates I'm looking for, that became available in early May, so I'm crossing my fingers for some pixie dust for that! pixiedust:

Intrigued! We go annually the latter part of August, and I was waiting for the Disney late summer offers to come out, but came across this. Been wanting to stay at Poly since the reno, but wasn't sure if we could swing it this year. I feel like I'm cheating on my TA, but I put in for a quote. I'm curious about some of the stipulations (aside from the inability to add dining, which they're up front about), based on the small print disclaimer ("The above offer is not a Walt Disney Travel Co. Magic Your Way Package and therefore does not include those package entitlements. Agency-exclusive offer.")

My specific questions:

1) does this offer require to pay in full, or does it follow the standard Disney deposit due at booking, then PIF 45 days out?
2) if paid with Disney Visa, is it eligible for the 6 months interest free?
3) assuming things like Magical Express and Magic Bands are included/a given, right?

TIA to anyone who can advise! Waiting to hear back from an agent, and will ask them as well, but wanted to manage my excitement in the meantime!

I can answer #1 for you: Deposit: $200 due at time of booking; final balance due by 45 days prior to check-in date.

Just got our quote... I had them quote Poly and BC, and the prices are amazing. Now just trying to decide between the two!

1) no, just $200 deposit, PIF 45 days out
2) not eligible for the financing - was told by Chase this was because it was not MYW, it is recognized as a convention/group rate, but still using my VISA for the points/Disney $$!
3) both are included and the TA can help you set up ME, MB can be customized through MDE

Thanks! Just put down our deposit! We used our Chase Visa for the points as well, and our quote came back so surprising low, financing won't even be an issue! :)

Now the real tough part: we were torn between Poly and BC, as there was only about $100 difference in the two packages - 7 nights and 7 day park tickets for me, DH and DS (5). We'll also have DD (1) with us. We've stayed in the Epcot area (Dolphin, multiple times) and MK area (CR), so we're totally familiar with the benefits of each resort area. We absolutely LOVE the theming of Poly (we're huge Hawaiiana freaks as well) and will be dining there several times. But Epcot is our favorite park, and I love being walking distance. Since it's going to be late August, we're also planning ample pool time for our water-loving kids, and thought SAB would be the better water experience. So we went ahead and booked BC. But now having second thoughts... did we make the right choice!? I'm guessing they have this deal every year (we go last week in August annually), so was thinking we'd try Poly next year when 100% of reno is complete.

We added a couple of days (using the magical deal) on the front end of our trip (free dining BB offer at POFQ) and we chose BC for the same reasons you are looking at it. It will be August, we love walking into Epcot and we will be using SAB a lot! I am considering trying this next year for Poly when the renovations are complete. I am also hoping it's offered again next year! I made the same choice as you for the same reasons:-) We've stayed at BC once and loved it! Have a great trip!

:wave2::wave2::wave2: These are our exact dates too! We are at POFQ Aug 20-Sept 2 with free dining (also booked last year on bounceback while we were at POFQ). We just added on two days before our POFQ stay with a 'magical deal' at the Beach Club. POFQ is our favourite resort! We are hoping to get the MNSSHP Sept 1 (it was Sept 1 last year, and I know Labour Day was early last year, so we probably won't get to do the MNSSHP, I'm still crossing my fingers).

Just saw the September hours and Sept. 1st MK is open till 7pm, which is pretty good indication there will me MNSSHP that night!!!! That would be so exciting :)))))))))))

Wow!!! That is exciting news. I wasn't counting on it, but with a 7:00pm close, it looks like it might happen:-) We might get to experience our first MNSSHP:jumping1:

Thanks for posting!

Thanks for posting!

Last year the first one was I believe on Sept. 1st. We have done it 3 times and love it. Haven't been able to do it since 2009 since we always have to be back for labor day. We really miss it, it is GREAT party. So excited:jumping1:

Ok......so I lost my ticker. Can someone direct me to a thread I forget how I made it :rolleyes1
