Hi

Looking to go for 2 weeks in August 2013.

So far the cheapest I've managed to find is £850 for flights only.

We are looking to stay in the Universal Royal Pacific hotel, however have a few questions;

1. If you stay at a universal resort, do you have to pay parking to stay in the resort?

2. Can you purchase Disney Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon tickets separately for a 2 week period? We are looking to go to Universal for the 2 weeks but would like Disney's Waterparks (not Magic Kingdom etc). If so, anyone have an idea on the prices?

Thats all I can think of for now, but we are obviously attempting to get it as best a price we can!

If anyone can help/feedback that would be appreciated!

Hi

The flight price is good for a last minute trip!

You can purchase tickets just for the water parks, but you would probably need to pay gate price ($55 per day). I love the disney water parks but there's no way they are worth that much.

Aquatica and Wet and Wild would be much cheaper for you if you are concentrating on Universal.

the disney waterpark annual pass is $104/adults

that gets you into both water parks as much as you want for a year..

if you want to add disney quest to that you can get an AP for the waterparks+disney question for $132/adult

Fast replies!

Wet and Wild isn't really my cup of tea - never been to aquatica though.

The annual pass doesn't sound too bad, we are thinking of doing universal parks and the disney waterparks - sufficient to keep us happy for a while!

55$ per day is a bit much, no brainer to go for the annual pass!

Just concerned with the Royal Pacific and having a car whether you'll need to pay a rate per day etc - I know what these hidden charges are like lol

Currently researching but if anyones got experience please let me know

thanks

when we stayed at the royal pacific, we did have to pay for parking...
they even were going to make me pay even though i have a handicapped tag - because all the handicapped spaces were already full.

I gave them a piece of my mind and told them they HAD to provide complimentary valet parking since their handicapped spaces were full.
in the end, they relented.
it would have been a no-brainer at disney, but things tend to be somewhat more complicated at universal.

but this was 2 years ago, i don't know if they still charge for parking.

You could ask on the universal board.
