Will be in the area Aug 22-27 for Star Wars Celebration off site, but probably wont get to the parks till family trip in november....unless I decide I just can't stand being that close and not seeing the castle. I'm at least planning to spend some time around DTD though.

Alas I am weak...added park tickets for the evenings in less than a month since my previous post

About what time do you think you'll be checking in and what do you normally do first? Park? Pool? Shop? Eat?

we land at 11am, so I'm guessing we'll be checked in by 12:30 or 1. We will probably grab lunch first, since we'll have been up since 4:30am. Then we'll either hit the pool or head over to the GF to rent a boat. I've never done that and would like to cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon and see what we can see! We have an ADR at 1900PF at 4:50pm (I'm going to try to push this to 5:30ish if I can, but no luck yet).

Then we'll head back to the CBR and see what movie is playing and call it an early night. We have 8am BBB the next morning (and will have had a long day!) so no park that first day.

Is anyone else sad that Test Track will be down while we're there? DH is kinda upset about it. When we watched those videos that was one he really wanted to go on. Oh well....NEXT TIME!

I'm totally bummed about Test Track. It's the one ride I think my DH would really enjoy (he's a car guy). And it's one of DS's favorite. Oh, well. Next time

Yeah....a QOD

We should be arriving at the Poly by no later than 1:30pm (if everything goes as plan with ME and if our plane doesn't get delayed). And since we will have already done the online check-in, we will see if our room is ready. If it is we will head to the room and check it out and put our stuff away, if not we will be taking our carry-ons to Bell Services then head over to Kona Cafe for some lunch. After that we will head over to Epcot and hopefully get a ride in on Soarin if not definitely on SE. For dinner we plan on going over to La Cantina de San Angel for some Mexican food and a margarita . After that we will probably enjoy WS and watch Illuminations before heading back to the resort.

WOW, that is kindof how I would describe me and my hubby as well. I am very pooh-shaped and my hubby is 6 feet tall and a total computer geek. We have a 13 year old son who is as tall as me and a not quite 10yr old daughter who has very curly dirty blonde hair (the more humid, the curlier it gets). I will have my team august tag on the back pack my DH will be carrying. hope to see you there!

Wow this thread moves fast Originally our plane was leaving at a nice 10am-ish which would have allowed us to sleep a little and get to the airport at a reasonable hour, but we booked back in Feb and it's been changed a few times so now we'll be landing at MCO before 10am

I don't mind arriving early - we'll check in our resort, hope for an early check in but either way, we'll have to go immediately to the food court for DSteen to get his "traditional" food court cheeseburger He's not officially at WDW until he has one of those grilled burgers, he loves them

After a very early lunch, we'll spend time seeing the resort, swim, getting into our room and settled.

We have ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe at 5pm, then MK for EMH hours but doing the Wishes dessert party (1st time) to kick off our trip

ALso have to make a pit stop at guest services to get our park tixs, local postoffice lost our Undercover Tourist package

We arrive at 6:10am (red eye from Seattle), and we'll be at the POR by 7:30. Usually at that time of the morning we are the only people on the ME, LOL!

If it isn't pouring rain when we arrive, we're going to eat breakfast at the resort and then head to Typhoon Lagoon for the majority of the day. If it is pouring like a monsoon, then we'll go to DTD and maybe go to Disneyquest.

I have been MIA for a while as real life got BUSY! should be quieter for 2 weeks, then homecoming and a new project at work

ADR's are made, I added a night to the beginning of our vacation because airfare was so much cheaper, and I'm starting to gather things for our trip. I hate to wish the summer away, but I can't wait for August 16th to get here!
