My DW and I will be at POFQ from August 25th through September 4th. It's under 60 days to go now, looking forward to our trip. Coming from Alaska, we are hoping not to spontaneously combust.

WOOHOO!! Isn't it exciting how close it is getting to all of our magical vacations?!

35 DAYS!!!!!

42 DAYS!! Next step is receiving our Mickey Mail, can't wait!!

Good Morning August friends
There's no point in listing my ADR's yet because I think I will be trying to change a few
Since we have changed our reservation to an Epcot area resort, I want to have the bulk of our reservations at Epcot, DTD or the Boardwalk.

I am still holding out slim hope for an Ohana to pop up when we get close to the trip since anyone who needs to cancel would have to get rid of it in order to not be charged the fee. It's not a big deal if we don't get it, but it's dh's favourite so I'll continue to try

Um...The DIS wouldnt be the same w/out you changing your mind all the time............and I want you to PM me the travel agency that you got that deal from-Im already planning my Poly/BC stay for next year

Looks like we will be at DHS the same day but eating at the same restaurants for opposite meals. We are Sci-Fi for lunch and 50's for dinner and you are vise versa. If you are interested in doing a meet, let me know.

Last week I booked my DB to come down with us as a surprise for my DS!! And I had to waitlist his room at Kidani but.......it came through today!


I'm still trying to figure out how to surprise her so if anyone has suggestions, I will take all into consideration.

And my DB doesn't know he's going with us until I go up for our birthday (he's my twin) August 8th to see him in Maine so I need to surprise him too! Any ideas?!

I'm sooooo excited for all these surprises!!!!

So excited. this week is crazy, we are moving on saturday and visiting my parents on friday who are up from florida for a cruise with other family members. Can't wait. I will Pm you next week but I will tell you that we are in Art of Animation in a Finding Nemo Family Suite. We are super excited to stay in the new Resort. I will be taking SOOOOO VERY MANY PICTURES!!!!!! (can you tell I am slightly excited about my upcoming trip??? )

My answer:

Illuminations is usually viewed by us in front of Norway, but I am on the hunt for a better spot this time as this is my FAVORITE fireworks display

Wishes- Im trying for a Casey's area spot this time. If not, we're okay with the Liberty Square area as long as there arent trees in the way

Wishes will be from the dessert party (our first time doing that) and Illuminations will be from wherever we can find a good spot. I'm hoping for somewhere on the back side (Italy, maybe?) so that it won't be as crowded as it gets up at the entrance to World Showcase.

Illumimations- I have never really watched it from start to finish so this year I hope to, I would appreciate any suggestions where to stand and how early.

Tip for the dessert Go HUNGRY We did this for my 40th birthday, and while it was a pretty special place to watch Wishes on your birthday, we werent that hungry and didnt really partake in the yummy deliciousness of the dessert table-Go HUNGRY!
