I tried for variety, a few new places and places kids could get a decent meal.
I am SO excited
I got the kids Tshirts today to make bleach mickey heads. I accidentally got yds a T that wasnt cotton so it didnt work. I went back to store for another shirt and Ill make it tomorrow.
Ods did his by himself so he was really excited!! He went a bit heavy in the spraying and dripped it but its all his work so its beautiful! Thanks for the idea. Now I just need to make my pirate Ts and vests.

Unfortunately I do not write my own PTR/TRs because I just don't have the time to do it plus I am not that organized and don't write down everything we did on each days....I have a bad memory as it is . However, I love reading other PTR/TRs....and not to be a brown nose, but I do love reading yours NikkiLovesWDW! . I think someday if my life slows down a bit, I will write one of my own, but until then I will live vicariously through other PTR/TRs .

Wow NikkiLovesWDW!, that is awesome thanks for doing this. It is so nice to see where everyone is eating at on certain days , just in case we should ever run into anyone from here.

Unfortunately I do not write my own PTR/TRs because I just don't have the time to do it plus I am not that organized and don't write down everything we did on each days....I have a bad memory as it is . However, I love reading other PTR/TRs....and not to be a brown nose, but I do love reading yours NikkiLovesWDW! . I think someday if my life slows down a bit, I will write one of my own, but until then I will live vicariously through other PTR/TRs .

More resort changes for Pigletto
I will try to be brief but I need help deciding.
We were going to stay at a family suite at AoA with free dining. It will be myself and dh, our two kids (15 and 8) and dd's friend (also 15).

I just got a quote from a travel agency (don't think I can mention their name on the boards) who gets select rooms at insanely good rates. They have our dates at The Yacht Club for CHEAPER THAN AOA. In fact, the rate includes promotional tickets for dd's friend that includes a few waterpark visits, mini golf and Disneyquest.
No brainer right? But do I want to give up 2 bathrooms?
The girls will sleep in quite a few days, and I would be completely comfortable telling them to come meet us at Epcot when they were showered and ready to move for the day.
The Epcot resorts are hands down our favourite resorts but we've never stayed at Yacht Club. We LOVE walking to DHS and EPCOT.
What would you do? Would you give up the space for a nicer resort and better location?

Based on everything you said, I was definitely take Yatch Club. You can't beat that walk to Epcot.

I would go for the Yacht Club. If the Epcot resorts are your favorite, and you love to walk to the parks, I would pick the YC. Even though AoA is bigger and has two bathrooms, the YC is nicer are the location is perfect.

QOTD: No, not planning on writing a PTR/TR, but may change my mind when we return. I do like making a personal memento, though, and I use some blog software and an online company to create an actual hardbound book with a trip report & color pictures. It's a little pricey (about $40 or so per book), but I've done it for our last two trips. I love it because it gives me a tangible, more permanent memory of our trip. I wish I had something like it for all of my trips as a kid, because it's fun to just pull a book off the shelf every now that is essentially a picture book of our family vacation that includes all the little stories and things that happened that you forget as time goes by.

ADRs: We are typically just QS people, but because this is a longer trip than we normally do, and to celebrate my graduation/taking the bar, we decided to do a few special dinners. We have:

8/20 - Wishes dessert party @ 9 p.m.
8/22 - Whispering Canyon @ 5:30 p.m.
8/24 - Tusker House @ 8:10 a.m.


Finally, pigletto, I have to agree with the PPs - I would go for Yacht Club. It's a nicer resort & the location is great. It sounds like you have the opportunity to get a great deal, and it would be hard for me to pass that up! ETA: Well, I guess I was a bit slow to type - congrats on the decision!
