Just curious I am going to make mousekeepers envelopes for the first time, does anybody have cute ideas?

I know there are some cute designs in the Creative Dis section of the boards.

It's hard to believe I started this thread almost a whole year ago! And now, August is almost upon us. It seemed so far away back then. It will be here before we know it!

Just save yourself some trouble and don't bother listing a resort. I've been known to change my mind a time or two.

I took some of my designs from here on the dis but the others my brother and I made ourselves!

Hope no one minds my asking the question! Would love to know what everyone else is doing! We've done the tie dye Mickey head shirts for the last two trips and DH just asked if we were doing them again. Don't think my 17 year old will wear one and not sure about my soon to be 15 year old. Last trip I also made a label for an M&M tube that held the quarters and pennies for the pressed pennies and I made a custom stroller tag (no stroller this trip!!)

Hmm, not reeeeally. My first few trips I had the LGMHs attached to my bag. I do have a couple tie dye mickey shirts, one that I had made specifically for my 4th of July trip. (It's red white and blue!) And also on that trip, I decorated my window at POR for the holiday. That was fun! But this coming trip, I don't really have any plans to do anything like that....

No not really. I've thought of making shirts a few times but only my 8 yr old would wear his happily

I am always kind of amazed by some of the things people make and do before their trips!
I think I'm missing the craft gene!
I find it's a lot of work to plan the itinerary, and look for the deals and book all the travel. Plus I do all the packing etc. I kind of lose steam for anything else after all of that.

ETA) If we do end up driving down one of these trips I will absolutely plan the heck out of the drive so that everyone is happy and has things to do. Luckily so far we've flown and just bring along iPods and a book.

Hi!

I have made gratuity and mousekeeping envelopes for our last few trips, I used a template on Mouse Savers website, then found Disney character clip-art to decorate them

We found that the bell-hops & DME drivers seemed to really appreciate getting their tips in these little envelopes too

This is the first trip I am NOT doing anything.

I did already make my envelopes for mousekeeping but thats it so far. The whole family is going in April as well as my mom and dad so I will make shirts to match at least one day when we go then..

I do decorate our windows at our hotel. Always have my lgmh in the window!!

You are MORE than welcome to count down with us but I'm pretty sure we're all planning for Disney World in Florida this August. You might find a group in the Disneyland section for August. But like I said, you are definitely welcome here regardless!

I want to join the club! We are going Aug 25- Sept 1st and staying at ASMo. We've had to cancel our last 2 trips, and haven't been since 2010, so we are really looking forward to this trip.

I'm going to have to cancel my August 2012 trip. I've been planning it for over a year, but I have to do the responsible thing and cancel.

But at least I can still plan for my 2 trips next year so I still have something to look forward to.

Yes, definitely.. I usually do t-shirts and tip envelopes!!!

For my last trip, my mom and I made t-shirts that we wore to the parks.
For example, we ate at the Crystal Palace for lunch and I made a shirt with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore. It came out really cute and when Piglet came around he loved it and kept pointing at it!
Also, my mom got a white shirt at Walmart and found Mickey and Minnie decals (I think on etsy) and ironed them onto the shirt.

I have done themed shirts for our family. One trip we were each a different character from Sleeping Beauty. And another trip we had t-shirts from Toy Story.

This trip, I am hoping to do 3 or 4 different movies for all of us. We shall see if funds and time allow. I order them online. They usually come in about 1 week.
