August 2012-anyone planning to go at this time?

even though it is far off, I can't stop thinking about it. We can't go next year, so it looks like August 2012. However, I am upset that free dining is offer next year for the time we usually go to WDW. I am hoping and praying it will be offered the following year too.

I just might be there. My best friend has never been and we can't go this year because of my wedding and such...however she just recently got engaged (tonight actually) so our plans may be changing now...but we're definitely looking at summer 2012

I was planning on taking DDs this August, but I think it will be more fun if we delay it until 2012, due to tight finances. I would rather wait another year than scrimp and tell the kids 'no' when I am at the parks.

I feel bad because we got a pin code via email for up to 40% off the resorts! I NEVER get pin codes and I cannot use it this time around. Usually we stay off site as we have a timeshare, but am hoping to combine it with an on site stay to make a full 10-12 days in WDW.

Anyway, I am hoping to see some deals the end of this year, but what is your opinion on booking so far out? So much can happen in 18 months, and I cannot afford to lose money by booking with my heart and not my head.

Any advice? Thanks so much!

Possible Sept. 2012 Solo Trip. I was thinking September wouldn't be as hot as the summer months, but apparently I am wrong. I think I can bear the heat though if the parks aren't as crowded as what they are during the summer.
If I go with my sister and the rest of the family in Jan. 2012, then I'm not sure if I will be going again in Sept. 2012 or not. Time will tell.

So far I have a group of 18 (family and friends) who are set to go August 2012. I'm planning a week in the parks. The dining plan (fingers crossed for free dining). Hope to stay in the new value suites. Two families want to make it a two week trip- one week in the park one week on the cruise.

Just booked POR Royal Room (2 DD's) for our very first WDW vacation in August 2012. As Canadians we have a free DP offer for late August which we have taken advantage of. Already excited to go.
