We are booked August 23- Sept 1 and have a 40% PIN code. DH, DD (3) and myself. We booked Dining and MYW with hopper for 7 days. Do you expect any coded that would be better than the 40%. We are staying at POP.

The 40% off is pretty good. I expect packages to come out but you never know. The UK packages were really good, room discounts and ticket upgrades. I guess they want to see how the economy does after the new year.

I think that 2009 could be a wildcard when it comes to what codes (room only? a good package deal? etc.) will be offered and when because the economy is so shaky. Right now, the big promotion runs through June. I wonder if we'll have to wait until close to June to see what will come the second half of the year?

OTOH, the free dining code for those traveling at the end of August through Sept. usually comes out the first week of April, so I'm hoping that early/mid August codes (if there are any, and I hope there are !) could be released by March. We'll have to wait and see......

August 20 - August 28, 2009 here. In-laws booked the Treehouse Villas for 4 nights then we will move to Pop Century most likely (we haven't booked the rest of the trip yet). Hoping for some good rates as we won't be able to take advantage of Free Dining if they offer it because we will already have tickets from the first half of our vacation.

Where did you find information on the Tree House Villas? I have been waiting on pricing and can't seem to find any.

My in-laws belong to SSR and purchased BLT while on a members cruise and got 4 free nights at the Treehouses to use between like June 2009 and May 2010. They we originally told they would be able to book in February before the 'public' or other DVC owners, but they were called a couple of weeks ago and told they could book now.

I think I've heard that they will be the same price/points as a 2 bedroom at SSR. Not positive though. I think, again, not positive, you can't book them until February sometime. I haven't seen too much info on them other than artist sketches and general information. Someone with more DVC knowledge may have more information than me.

WDW Traveler: Thanks so much for getting back to me. That explains it perfectly. I did not think it would be in our budget. A 2 bedroom at SSR definately exceeds it. It will be fun to see more info on the Tree Houses though.

Just joined the board and am also planning a late Aug trip and hoping for some great deals.

I've been to WDW 15 times... and all the other resorts around the world... lots of solo trips... but this time will be special because I will be bringing my nieces (who will be 8 and 12 at the time and who have never been to a Disney park) People think I am crazy- and I won't deny that- but I really want to be able to pass on my love for Disney parks and I don't have kids of my own. Plus, I haven't been to WDW for 5 years and that is way too long!
