Thanks for celebrating with us. It's getting so exciting.

We are in the process of packing tonight and DH and DD were going through some of our overnight bags and look what they found from our last Disney Trip in 2006.

Those are collectors' items now. They don't make them like that any more. Now you will get little blue bottles and round white soaps. We've got a few like the ones you pictured, so I'm glad we held on to them. The red and black ones were cuter, but maybe the new ones are supposed to be a better brand? I think that's what I read somewhere.

Packing to go to Disney World. Good stuff!

That's cool that they are collector's items. Who knew that my being lazy and not emptying them out of the bags for 2 years and now I have a collector's item. That cracks me up.

Well, we've packed about all we can for tonight. The rest will be done probably Monday. WooHoo, just 3 more sleeps

Well, this is DH's last work day. 2 church services and he's officially on vacation!!!

We're going to go each lunch with his parents this afternoon. They are actually talking about coming down to Florida and spending a couple of days in the parks with us. They haven't decided for sure. We hope they do because they are a lot of fun to be with. We'll just have to wait and see.

Oldest DD got to work Thursday and Friday for my cousin and earned some extra money, so she is going to buy a digital camera for herself to take to WDW. She picked one out yesterday and they didn't have any in stock, so we're going to try a different store today. I hope she can find the one she wants.

Only 2 more sleeps until we leave!! Have a great day everyone.

Spending the night there then off to Bangor. Flying out at 6am on Tuesday.

You guys have a great meet. I told Nicole to call me while you're all together, so I sure hope she makes it over there. I may PM you guys my number in case she doesn't so you can hold the phone out and let me listen to the music and the crowds. Wonder if they smell-o-phones so I can smell the funnel cakes and turkey legs and all of the other awesome Disney goodies???

To all the TCKK family, I know your house is busy and buzzing with excitement. You've worked hard, and now it's time to relax and have some FUN! In a very few days, you will be walking into that big old happy Pop Century! That first few minutes just standing there looking out at the hippy dippy pool and realizing you've arrived is just the best!

We have had a great day! DH is now officially on vacation and DD got the camera she wanted. DH and I are trying to talk her into doing a TR too from the teen's perspective. Don't know if she will or not, but if not her own thread, hopefully she'll had to mine and hopefully I'll be able to get DH to add to it too.

We're all home for the night now. We have tonight and then tomorrow we'll finish packing and I get a B-day lunch at Red Lobster and the dog goes to the kennel and then to bed early and up around 4:00am and on the road by 4:30-5:00am!!!!! Can't wait to see POP around 1:30-2:00pm on Wednesday!!!

Yep, we're all packed and heading to bed soon now (we may not sleep much, but at least we'll relax some.) Can't believe the time is really here now!!! We plan to start a new thread for the trip report. We'll put a link here when we decide on a name and are ready to start. It'll probably be something along the lines of "The TCKK Family August 2008 Disney Trek" or some such thing. Hopefully we'll have time to post some pics of the mini-Dismeet on Sunday.

Sunday night update - The TCKK family just met up with declansdad and pooksma and Nicole and David. They're riding Pirates and Wishes is playing in the background. Nicole called and everyone said a group hello. I'm so glad to know they did get to meet, and I hope they're having an awesome time!
