Hi

Have been researching August 2007 prices, and I like to thoroughly(DH calls it obsessively! :confused3 ) check all options, and so far this is what I've come up with.............................

There are 4 of us 2 adults, 1 DD 13 and 1 DD 11

Cosmos 18.08.07 - Courtyard by Marriott 2926
Cypresse Pointe 3204

First Choice 18.08.07 - World Center Marriott 3766
Coronado Springs 3810

My Travel 17.08.07 - Courtyard by Marriott 3524 (with Prem Seating)
World Center Marriott 3376
Coronado Springs 3509

Thomas Cook 17.08.07 - Fairfield Inn 2752

Thomson 17.08.07 - Courtyard by Marriott 2939

Virgin 20.08.07 - Fairfield Inn 2772
Marriott Village Courtyard 2903

Ocean Florida 17.08.07 - Windsor Hills Condo 3740

American Specialistes 17.08.07 - Unnamed villa 3472

Are you still with me :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bearing all this in mind (some of them don't include car/insurances etc) which one would you go for and why??????????

Thanks.........(Housework, I haven't possibly got time :rotfl2: )

That is such a hard question to answer because the types of accommodation you are comparing are so very different. Do you have a preference for onsite vs offsite, and hotel vs villa or condo? For example if you aren't that bothered about staying onsite, I would rule out Coronado Springs and use the money for something else :)

Personally I am less keen on the unnamed villa option as I like to know exactly what I am getting :)

There are some lovely places you have on that list though :)

Well for me it`s always onsite so I would go for Coronado Springs :thumbsup2
The pool is is really good too, so thats a another thing in its favour.
Good luck with your decision.

After an absolutely disasterous off site holiday last year. Never again would we go off site. However I am now a DVC member so am biased. We only have flights to get and they seem really expensive next August.

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Hi,
I don't know if this helps but we booked our flights and van hire with American specialists and booked the villa direct from the owner. This way we know exactly where we are located and what spec the villa is.

Sue,

Can only see more transatlantic movements next year as more carriers go after London slots due to the open skies agreement. Should drive prices down .

None! I would book a flydrive and a Disney package directly with the US and get FREE DINING!!! We've done precisely that for this August. We got the best flight prices with Airtours.

have you tried pricing the same accomadation with different tour operators, that might make it more simple,
I priced Disney value, moderate & deluxe resorts with first choice, jetsave & virgin, first choice was cheapest, virgin was the most but when i took the 10% flying club off there wasnt much in it!! If first choice matched the 10% they would be the cheapest!!
Just got to check out Thompson now!! :)
