I am trying to get a feel for the trend in discounts for August. I know that in 2005 they offered free dinning and in 2003 I think they offered the 7 for 4 package. Does anyone know what the promotion was for 2004? I checked the history at mouse savers and all it references is general public package and room discounts but not what they were.
What I am trying to do is get a feel for the typical monitary savings for a week stay at WL with dinning and park hoppers for 4. (2 adults, 2 children).
It appears that for 2003 it would have been a bit more than $600 and for 2005 the savings was $630. It would be interesting to see if the promos for 2004 would result in the same type of savings. I know that past performance does not mean that they will run promos in the future. Still for us since we will be on site and getting the dinning plan and getting tickets for each day we are there just about any promotion would apply and offset the cost of the trip. I don't really care if its free dinning (unlikely again) or a package discount. The net savings is what I am interested in as we would definitely get the dinning plan again. If it appears that we can save around the same amount for 2006 then we may consider going again this August.
