Your loss Scratch. YOU could have been Party Central!! :)
I'm not able to add the new folks til I get home this evening but promise I will.

Cheers,

And who says I still can't be!LOL:rockband:

I have a feeling none of us will be spending much time in the Staterooms!

ehtpnt...hi to a fellow Pennsylvanian--will there be anyone left in PA? We love your area and often go shopping at Lehigh Valley Mall and will probably fly out of ABE (maybe using Southeast to LA--someone told me that that fly there and Florida) or Southwest out of Philly. Our airport only has US Airways and they soak you for a one way ticket! We will have to plan a PA Disney meet next spring or early summer for all of the PA and NJ folks!! Mary Jo

Sounds like that would be fun Mary Jo, this cruise is getting more exciting all the time!!!

Hi Mary Jo-- sounds like a great idea. I often zip over to LVM it is only about 10 minutes from us.
Got to get ready for work. Estelle

We are in an interesting quandry. When we booked last week in a Cat 6, we were aware that DW is pregnant. Well on Friday the ultrasound revealed that we are getting one more kid than anticipated. This will put our total up to five. Well, I learned on Friday that you cannot put five in a room unless it is a Cat 4 or higher. Of course now there are not any left, and if one does open up, I can only imagine what the price will be.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I did have a thought that would be against the "rules". That would be to have someone who has two or three in a cabin "take" one of my kids (they would be compensated for the fare increase), and thenkeep all five in our cabin. In reality with two infants, we will not need any additional room of the Cat. 4, as they will both be in the pack and play.

I think the only other way would be to find a family of 4 or less in a Cat 4 cabin who would be willing to swap reservations for a Cat. 6 and that would still require DCL to allow us to keep the original pricing, which is likely wishful thinking.

Wow!!!
Congratulations!!!
Now THAT is a different situation, THATS for sure :)

At least there is a year and a half to work on it.

Cheers,
Grumbo :)

Sounds fun Mary Jo! Keep us folks near Philly in mind too. Also, let us know if you hear any great airfare and we'll do the same. I live right near PHL but would definitely head up to ABE to save some $$$$. Less money on plane tickets = more money to spend on the Magic!

Hi guys, just wanted to check in. My deposit is paid and it is a go. Count me in, too. It will be my DH, Ted and myself (Sandy). Trying to talk myself out of my Oct 04 cruise but just can't bring myself to do it. We would disappoint some fellow disers that we met on other trips. Wouldn't want that now would we? Isn't it great to blame someone else just to be able to go?

Whaaaaaaa, I want to go NOW!

Sandy

Thank you, DenverVal, for your comments have done it before but without kids.

Thinking of the distance the plan would be to go direct to VEGAS, stay there and do one of thoose flights from LV to the Grand Canyon, for a day and then back to LV.

Part of the logic its a long way so i might was well get my monies worth and take the kids to as much a possible, they can rest on the ship.
GC is great isnt it, but will be hot but the timing is down to the cruise and our schools

Whilst travelling I would like to see hollywood again and Universal (kids love Universal Orlando, more than WDW) so flying to Burbank was the idea there and stay say 3 nights in that region.

Hollywood > Disneyland is the issue, and depending on cost I will decide either car hire Burbank>Hollywood>DL and drop off, or possible Town cars,

The LA Parking lot is exactly why I am thinking about LV first avoid LAX completly, and cut the car trips down to as small as possible.

Still very early in the planning stages much depends on flights, I might have to switch to LA if I cannot obtain the ones I want.

Thanks for the input DenverVal

I watched a video I rented from the Library on the Panama Canal. It was originally a NOVA program. It was very interesting. Check it out if you can!

Hi Mary Jo- this sounds good to me too.

Jazzman just sent me the new "list" taken directly from his database. I have a few more that I have to forward to him but it is apparently simple for him to add to it. We will email it back and forth and just update it this way.
It looks much "cleaner" to me so take a look and see what you think.
Thanks Jazzman. Nice job.

Cheers,
Grumbo

The new list looks very nice. BTW, we have late dining.

Great list!!! And I very pleased to see some solo travelers on it. This should be a great cruise. All the sea time to watch the world go by, cold drink in hand, cute bar server..................... Is it time yet?

SFed's little sleight-of-hand trick has put us officially over 300. To put that in perspective, 1 out of 8 passengers on the sailing is connected to this board in some way...
