WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Andy and Hazel are going with us!!!!!!!!!! Although, with Andy and Rae hovering over the shrimp........ this could get as ugly as our 4/17 cruise!! ;)

Our sailing group will be be me, DW and DS (11 years old at sailing). At least this time everyone else won't have to worry about being overrun by people from Massachusetts!! I think the 4/17 cruise must have been around 30%, or more, from MA. Also joining us will be a friend of mine and her DH, DS15 and DD11. Are you out there kerridvc??

I can't wait for this DIS meet. Andy is right, we may need to take over Lumiere's for lunch!!

Andy..... I know what you mean about kids flying alone. I was really apprehensive about it when my DD flew by herself, for the first time, at the age of 11. She sure did feel "grown up", and flew many times by herself after that. Even though that was in 1986, and times have changed, I think a teenager flying alone would be ok on a non-stop flight. I've also heard that the TSA may start relaxing the rules about unaccompanied minors being met at the gate, so your mom may be able to meet her as she gets off the plane.

Can't wait to get this parteeee started!!!!

Hi Ed. Our sons can play together. Mine will be 11 when we sail too. Although I am from PA I go up to the Boston area quite a bit to visit my sister. I'll be there in June for at least a week.

kpgclark.......... I think there may be a lot of kids around the same age on this cruise. At some point, we are going to have to start a list of who's going, in one of these posts.

I believe Grumbo was going to start working on a list this week, right Grumbo??? Can't trust me to do that as I might lose my glasses, LOL!!!

Besides, I have many DCL postcards to get ready for mailing over the weekend!!!

:D Hi everybody!

While reading both threads to see if there is anyone cruising the same age as our daughters (ages 16 and 22 when we sail) we decided to start compiling a list. So if everyone wants us to, we will keep going. So far we are doing a spreadsheet with the poster's name, where they are from (if listed) and the ages of people in their group (adult male and female and children male and female).

Feel free to PM my husband or me with your info, even if you already posted here, so we are sure the list is accurate (his user name is "Jazzman"). If you want to have us add more info we can, and even expand this to a database. We will add ages of children if people want us to, and anything else people want. As of right now he already has 171 people listed after the first thread!!

We will link the list from our Disney Magic website (link is below:Stateroom 8518 - Disney Magic!)

I hope this is helpful to everyone!!

ThreeCircles.net will be hosting a site dedicated to the Disney Magic August 20th 2005 cruise. No idea on when it will be up and running though! :)

It will probably be similar to the other cruise lists on the site. You can check them out at ThreeCircles.net.

Hey Jason and Travis, welcome home!! Wish we were doing this cruise with you, but we are doing the FL to CA run. Hope you have a great cruise! (of course you will, lol!)

OK - as of this moment I count exactly 200 people with 52 DIS membernames (OK, 53 if I count mine as well!). And I have several listings where I don't have any counts at all. Inevitably there will be some cancellations, but between the people I am missing and a few more to come we should easily be over 200.

Anyone know what the record is?? Let's see... I think the ship cost about $400 million, so that would only work out to $2 million for each of us ('course that includes kids and TDB's). Please don't PM me with offers; I will accept checks and money orders however.

I am compiling the list in MSEXCEL with the following info:

DIS name
# of Men, Women, Boys, Girls, 'unknowns' (let us know SFed)
total in group
location

No names, ages, or staterooms at this point.

Assuming no one has problems with this, I'm planning to make this available via the web. It will be in our cruise website, but there will be no visible link (I'll only post the link here).

What I'm looking for is any concerns, issues, changes, etc. I recognize there are concerns with safety, so I won't put the list up there for a couple of days while I wait for any responses.

We'll need to hold the meet amidships to avoid potential listing problems... :-)

I would love to be on this cruise but because of school schedules we can't do it. But I did just realize that we can drive up and see you guys off! I think next time we are at Disneyland, I'm going to buy some of those big white Mickey hands to wave goodbye. :earsboy:

It is going to be fun to meet all of my fellow crazy early birds on line! Oh, wait a minute. Maybe I don't have to get there too early since I'm a Castaway Club member. Don't we get to embark first?

If any of you booked via DU, where do you enter or check your personal information such as ages of the kids and Castaway Club number. I just want to make sure the data is correct.

We're in! Have to sort out all the cabins and details later. I'm still kind of in a daze regarding the reservations (I think I booked 8 cabins on this cruise for friends and family including one cabin for me!). :earseek:

If you end up releasing some of the cabins, let me know because we are interested in upgrading ours.

My dds dont know about this one yet but we will probably tell them around Christmas and then they will be wanting to make some cruise buddies.
After you tell them, email or PM me, my daughter is 14 right now and will turn 15 next April .. so she'd probably love to email back & forth before the cruise with your DD14 and DD15. :)

Hi kpgclark! Unfortunately, I don't think there's much chance of releasing any cabins! Rae and Verandah Man are testament to that! :rotfl: I just sent VM an email to this effect. He told me they didn't need this cabin and then I got an email last night from him saying that he was seriously thinking about it! It's a good thing I'm stubborn and just booked everything!!

Well still keep us in mind if you decide not to keep any OK?

I feel GREAT!!! I had my first PT session Friday morning and walked out with NO PAIN at all. Just have to work on getting the strength built back up in my leg muscles and get the swelling down, other than that, I feel 10 years younger!!! It's amazing when the pain is taken away, how much better one feels!!! I still can't fall asleep, but I'm feeling better!!! LOL!!!

Hi Andy,

So glad you are healing and that the pain is decreasing to none, hurray!

BTW, dh and I adopted our two children too, so we know the abundant blessings of having our children!

Take care, and Konk Kooler toasts to all! So glad Rae will be joining us, how about Barb?

Take care, my dh will have to start posting, he's hearing all about it via me and we're doing the "happy dance!"

Barbara

Barbara, small world. Both of our children are adopted too. Who were you referring to in your message?

Hey Sarah (Maleficent59),

We're fellow Southern Californians too, very close to the Queen Mary.

What a dear you are to reserve those staterooms!

Aren't you excited? Maybe we can have a few Southern Calif. DIS meets prior?!

Hey everybody, we think the Disneyland Hotel overlooking Downtown Disney is the way to stay at DL/DCA with kids, Sierra Tower, floor 7 or above. Then again, we have never stayed at the Disney Californian. Think about it! (Talk about an awesome view seeing the fireworks over the castle and the firework Mickey's).

Hey, we'd love to meet some of you there prior to the cruise and go on Soarin and River raft rides, hey, even TOT!

Take care Sarah and all, can't wait to meet everybody!

Barbara

Hi kpgclark!

I was referring to Andy and Hazel, but that's wonderful to hear that you are adoptive parents too!

Look forward to meeting you and your family!

Barbara
