Ok....I am a few days behinds but PINS!!! Someone said PINS!!! I am addicted...so adicted that I never trade I can't bear to part with any. Jeanne will tell you I go nuts over them. Where did the pictures come from and are they already selling them??? HELP! I need to feed the addiction!

As far as the corking fee...I know I am really behind...old news. But could we fit 200 people on the secret veranda? We would be very friendly by the end of that party! If it is $15-17 per bottle not too bad for the Dudettes divided by 3 so why not for the experience. However! It would be rotten and cheesy if DCL originally said no fee and now have changed their minds. My opinions.

Can anyone remind me where the thread to the weight support is? I forgot. Have been very good the last few weeks...don't know if I will do 30# by the cruise but it won't be for not trying!

Bob, I found an interesting article in Tracy's newsletter, this should shed some light on recent developements.


The company formerly known as JGE, has been sold in its entirety to a consortium of women previously known as the sisterhood. This new company, Incorporated in South Carolina, will now be known as S.C. Amway.

The new corporate structure will be:

Chief Executive Officer - Melinda (Bmwdsny)
Chief Operating Officer - Nancy (Perdita & Pongo)
Chief Technology Officer - Arlene (Mississaugamom)
Sergeant-At-Arms - Marsha (Mickeyfan1)
Company Spokeswoman - Tracy (Winotracy)

Former founders, Jazzman and Grumbo, will remain with the company and be given the titles of Chairman Emeritus, retaining 50.1% of the company’s voting rights.

This move has widely been seen to many as just another in a long line of scams that the former company had been known for. When reached for a comment, co-founder Grumbo replied, “Sheesh, we gave them titles and everything; what more can we do?”

In other company news, recently released employees, Bob (izzinmac) and Mark (Mark&Sandra) have been rehired. These two have long been thought to be the brains behind the operations.

The pin pictures are on DizPins and were taken at a Scoop's Pin Talk on Wednesday. No, the pins are not on sale yet. They are cruise line exclusive merchandise and won't be available except on the ship during the two PC cruises.

As for the wine tasting, I will be brining a cork screw since I intend to bring a bottle of wine for my room as well as the wine tasting offering. I will be very very unhappy if DCL searches my luggage and takes anything out of my bags. But if DCL wants some extra $$$ so be it. I intend to have a wonderful time getting to know all the folks that I've enjoyed reading during a long cold winter.

Tracy, do whatever you think best and thanks for all your hard work.

I can see where DCL might me getting nervous about us. So far we have managed as a group to charter busses, make lanyards, pins, shirts, etc. All potential $$$ they are losing. Granted I'll still be spending big bucks on pins and souvies (not to mention internet access, spa and alcohol) but they don't know that. It might be different if we were all booked with one travel agent then there might be some clout, but we aren't.

But if I were in marketing at DCL it really is something I would want consider. Since sail dates are now opened so far ahead, folks are going to have lots of time to organize groups and plan. Done right, Disney could have a whole new cruise profit center, catering to internet groups. Internet group tea, internet group brunch, deck 7 for a get together, spa night, some type of special ship tour for the die hard Disney internet fan, all at a nominal charge to you KTTW card. (BTW, if the powers that be are reading this I will happily accept an upgrade if you take up this idea )

Just wanted to remind the fools that the Travel Channel is having DCL on at 8:00 pm EST...that is just 12 minutes away!!!

Thanks Mark! That is really a relief to me. The last time I called Grumbo, we had a lousy connection (hard to call third world countries!) and he was breaking up, but I coulda swore he called me the "...behind of the organization!" Your news release clears up that confusion!
