Great, sounds like a good plan. Except I think I'll do the dropping off so that I'm not the one standing there with the kids when they are dying to get on the ship! :moped:

How is one to get from LAX to the Howard Johnson's?

Any suggestions? Or is this what you guys are already talking about? :)

As you can see, I'm a bit behind.

some people have gone with karmel the same company doing the HoJo to Port. Also there's a depot for the airport bus across from HoJo. It's a shared bus like mears. Not sure how they do it exactly, if they first go to the depot, or if they drop off at the various hotels.

... As for J.G.E. Brotherhood Beer Tasting, perhaps you can hire some of the sisters to 'OPEN" the beer, pour in glass, and serve to the guys, as well as light the cigars too!!
But of course - that was in the plan all along.

What do you think the Hooters T-shirts (I think yours is a size "PN") are for?

www.supershuttle.com is a good resource, too.

Or perhaps JGE has a limo that is already arranged for you?

Hi Everyone,

Did anyone ever figure out the details about the shuttle from Budget to the port? I'm thinking that would be the best option for my crew.....

I must admit, I have been quite behind on my duty to get all the information to you about the shuttle from Budget to Port (health problems have gotten in the way). I posted some of the prices back in February and I think Tracy put them in one of her newsletters, but I only got responses from three people.

Sooo.....for those still interested -- please PM me (since I am having trouble keeping up on the board and before you know it, people's postings get buried) if you are interested -- and let me know if there will be more than one in your party going back or if you are dropping people and luggage off at the port first. I will get prices from all the resources on Monday and post them here next week and we'll go from there. :bitelip:

Also, don't know if this has been mentioned yet -- but I had an extensive conversation with a DL rep this morning about the "rumor" that you may be able to start making your Palo and Spa reservations on th web. She said so far it is tentative and no formal announcement has been made, but that yes -- they think starting some time in May you will be able to do that. However, you can only make them 30 days out and they will be limited in order to keep enough open to the REAS pre-paid packages. :cool1:

Today, together with our great partners at Alaska Airlines, we proudly "rolled in" to service our second themed plane, "The Magic of Disneyland", in celebration of our 50th anniversary.
The newest work of art and imagination created by our very talented team in Creative Print Services soared into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, trailing a little bit of Disney pixie dust. Adorned with the familiar image of our 50th ambassador, Tinker Bell, on the fuselage and golden Mickey Mouse ears on the trail, the bright-blue Boeing 737-400 is the perfect complement to our first collaboration with Alaska Airlines, "The Spirit of Disneyland."

After a ribbon-cutting ceremony including Mickey Mouse, the aircraft officially joined the Alaska fleet on a flight to Southern California, where it will regularly visit the five airports Alaska serves in the region — Burbank, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Ontario and Orange County. Our joint efforts will continue in May with Disneyland 50th décor popping up in Alaska Airlines gates throughout their system and a follow-up homecoming activity planned at Disneyland in June.

Look what happens when chat is down and I go to the grocery store!!!

There is No Announcement!!

While chat was working Mark and I spoke about the hypothetical (which would be proposed to the Westbound Cruise as well, if it is a reality, which we still don't know). He wanted to post something. I said to wait until I checked into things, by noon today.

Tracy,if you choose to keep the info from these people (who we've come to call friends), then I'll abide by your decision and keep my mouth closed. Let me know when you want the news to finally be released...Mark

If you plan on making $25.00 bucks an hour you'd better plan on wearing those Hooter's outfit as well as 'Working' the room. I'd suggest some music and a fireman's pole (thanks for the correcrion Bob) too...Mark
