The thing I am "in" on (but know nothing about, grrrr) is going down Early (to quote Tracy) next week.

Whatever Tracy and Mark have going is something altogether different, I think.

I am always up for trying to be sneaky! Besides I can buy a lot of corkscrews for $15.00 ;)
 
Hi all
not to change the subject but I am totally confused on the pin and lanyard payment. Are we sending payment to 2 separate people if so I got the e mail for the lanyard payment. Who do we send the pin payment to so I can get it out in the mail or if possible paypal?

Also Tracy thanks for the hard work on the wine tasting. No problem here paying the corkage fee I don't drink also but am looking forward to meeting everyone. What ever you decide is great with me. Again Thanks!!!!

I'm going to place this info in The Rolodex too. Just so we have it all in one place.

Marsha is in charge of the SOF Lanyards. She is the one who sent out the PMs with the shipping and payment information.

The money for the pins/medallions is going to someone else.

So, in short, two different people.
 
Hi Everyone,

Did anyone ever figure out the details about the shuttle from Budget to the port? I'm thinking that would be the best option for my crew.

Also, my DH was looking at the internet info from the newsletter. He was wondering if anyone has tried to bring a router. That way more than one person could use the connection at one time?

And thanks everyone for the great responses to my mom, NanaKaty.
 
We always had announcements at either 10am or 2pm when I worked at the phone company in Virginia. Somehow I doubt that this announcement will be like those!

I think spring is coming to NH. The peepers are out in force, it's a lovely sound.

If you're talking about Budget Rental in Long Beach there is NO shuttle. I got differing reports re this but have since called the agency IN Long Beach and a cab is really the only way. Its a short ride, and I'm going to drop my crew off at the port, go and get rid of the van, and take a cab back to the port.

There is No Announcement!!

While chat was working Mark and I spoke about the hypothetical (which would be proposed to the Westbound Cruise as well, if it is a reality, which we still don't know). He wanted to post something. I said to wait until I checked into things, by noon today.

Nancy and I had a PM where she asked way to many questions about something else. Which has nothing to do with most of you :rotfl2: Her question was when is it going to happen, early next week or late next week. Answer Early. I added for fun (and to get her mind going) "and it's not for you". Nancy, actually you will know by Monday.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming. Unless anyone wants to come over and help us spread mulch in the gardens! 12 yards just delivered!!

Yep.. NOT the Long Beach Airport site though.
I know Dan is also dumping his vehicle there, plus another one of our crew that is going to go to San Francisco before the cruise.

Yep same here!!!! Bob is going to drop us off at port and then drop off minivan at Budget and take cab to port.
