Pin and Medallion payment info - Straight from Susan.

The payment info will be in the NEWSLETTER only. If you do not get the newsletter, please email Tracy via the DIS and tell her your email address. She will send you the link to the newsletter.

If you want to change the number of pins, let Dan know. Medallions, let Susan know.

I sent Susan an email asking for the total amount that I need to give her and her mailing or PayPal info, but haven't heard back from her yet. If I use PayPal, does she want a self addressed stamped envelope to be sent to her so she can mail the pins/medallions to me? If she does, then I guess it will make more sense to send her payment instead of using PayPal.

I think I ordered 7 pins and 2 medallions so maybe I'll put 10 of my larger pins in a padded envelope and weigh it to try to get the correct postage for them to be sent to me. I'm not sure how else to guess at the return shipping cost.

Thanks,

Reneé

Marsha,

Since you seem to be the one communicating with Susan, can you ask her if she wants us to send her an envelope to send the pins to us or if she will pick them up herself? That is my deciding factor on if I will use PayPal or send her a money order.

Thanks,

Reneé

Reneé,

The answer is no. That amount is included in the cost. The cost will be $2.50 per pin and $4.00 per medallion plus $1 each for shipping. Plus PayPal fees if you are using PayPal.

The PayPal address and mailing address will be in the newsletter on Friday! (note to self, don't forget the addresses!!)

Benita's gallblader decided to act up again -- and most likely it will be removed today or tomorrow with her spleen. I will keep everyone posted.

Do we have the answer to the riddle squared away?

No one is brave enough to post it, I guess.

Perhaps they all like keeping Melinda wondering...

Post the answer TOMORROW with the new riddle!

So Marsha, did you start gathering you pairs yesterday? :umbrella: :boat: I know I was working on it. We got a total of about 2" of rain yesterday. I saw that Manchester got almost 4". Did you get a lot? Lots of flooding and ditches washing out here.

I have some jokes to post, but I'll post them on the other site. Been an eventful day here today. We woke up to no hot water. That's always fun. Don't stand too close to me today :rotfl2: . I'm waiting for the boiler people to call so it can be fixed. I hope it's not too expensive (I've been told it shouldn't be). We still have heat, so it's something with either the water heater or the circulator (which we've already replace once). We don't have any type of maintenance contract because our house is only a little over 3 years old. Who woulda thunk we'd have trouble with the hot water twice since we installed it.

I know the answer to the riddle (and the reasoning). Who does tomorrow?? Or is is day to day and whoever gets their riddle on first??

Oh--and I know it's off topic--but what isn't on this thread?? LOL
Anyway--have a 3 hour consultation/exam on April 18th for LASIK!! If all goes well will get it done that day or the 19th!!! No more contacts!!!!! So since I've been a contact lens wearer for 18 years--I have to go 4 weeks with glasses to make sure the exam is as accurate as possible!! I can't wait! :cool1:

I need to buy a rain guage. I had one in AZ, but it never got used! And it only measured 4 inches! We had about 12 inches of water at the foot of the driveway for the last 24 hours. Now that the rain has stopped, it had all drained away on my side. On the other side of the road there is still a huge puddle that is about a foot deep. Since this is a "new" road, they wtill have some regrading to do, they will do it in April, or May, "they" say. All I want to know is who is "they"?

I guess I need to get out and get yesterdays mail and do a bit of errand running before Pete gets home from Rochester, NY. Boy does he get some fun trips!!!!!!

Thanks for the Info Marsha!

You'ld have to be a square not to figure out the riddle!

I got a bunch of math quizes for days up to 100 I believe, so I'll shoot for one of those days!

Don't want to step on any toes, but as far as pin payments go, I have a free paypal account, and can accept non credit card payments through paypal. Free accounts do not charge fees for collecting money. So if anyone wants to send me money through paypal, (as long as it doesn't use a credit card) I would be willing to collect the money and pass it along to susan. Just thinking this might be easier than trying to add on the paypal fees.

Even though she suggested it, Melinda doesn't want to organize a Stitching Hour onboard. Estelle? Are you interested in heading this up?

Well gee now Tracy, you didn't have to have that kind of attitude!!!!!!! :snooty:

Donna,

That sounds like a great idea that will help cut down the costs. I might take you up on that offer!

Betcha Mel's glad she found a smilie to refer to when she talks about me :snooty:. Not quite snobby, but it'll work :p

What did you change your mind Mel? Do you want to organize it? Didn't think so :rotfl2:
