I love to hear accents. I'm sure if people overheard me, they'd think I was picking on people, but I really just love the way people say things. It's great. Dh's family is from Skowhegan Maine, so you should hear their accents. I love it. My MIL doesn't have it so much because the moved to VT when she was in high school, but when she's with her family for more than a few hours, she starts to talk like them. If I'm in an area for too long (like more than a day), I start to talk in an accent. DH hates that. I think it's funny. I haven't started adding the r's to words yet though, and I can still say CAR, but give me a few years and you'll probably think I grew up here.

i am in process of making dinner now and my DD put on Disney Cd over intercom... Now istening to "Circle of Life" and then "Can you feel the love tonight?" and now "SpectroMagic"

gosh, i always get goose bumps and get depressed that i am not on the Disney ship or World now whenever i listened to it !!

Just popped in to see what I had missed. I feel like crap! Got the flu bug yesterday, and really feel it today. My eyeballs feel like they weigh 400#, my throat feels like a flame thrower, and when I'm not hot I got the chills. Been laying in bed most of the day. The cats, who normally avoid me, have decided to curl up next to me! Especially whem I'm on fire! And always with their butts in my face! Ever notice how bad a cat's butt smells??? I haven't smelled too many butts that were good, but cat's are the worst!

I did manage to stay alive for the Superbowl. Game:so-so. Didn't care who won. Must admit, Pats sure have a knack for doing it right when they have to. TO really embarrassed the Eagle team-he was the only one who came to play! I thought McNabb's clock management the last 6 minutes was atrocious! You never would have seen Farve waste that much time!

I enjoyed the whole atmosphere this year. The family could watch this one. Maybe not super exciting, but safe! Except for the gal popping her strap, and the Cialis commercial!

What is it with Cialis??? Don't get me wrong...probably an excellent medical advancement. But do we need all the commercials. More explicit that Preparation H.

Someone please explain to me- what do you do with a 4 hour erection??? Talk about overkill!!

And if you use it , does it go away??? Or does it just keep popping up again?? The only visual I can get is one of those trick birthday cake candles...blow it out, wait a few seconds, it pops up again, blow it out again, wait a few seconds, it pops up again...

Maybe next year Cialis can sponsor the kick off. Have the same WWII vets march out, this time after taking Cialis. They could reenact the Battle of the Bulge! Give new meaning to the moniker "The Greatest Generation"

Hi all...I thought I would stop in and introduce myself...I will be in with dudette # 2 & 3...booked late.
I see a lot of people from area's in the US that I have either lived or spent a lot of time at. NH, Maine, Live in NJ, born in CA.

I am not going to read the 685 pages of posts from you all so forgive me for not commenting on any or all ...just wanted to let you all know I am here and I will be there in August!

Don't know the answer to 1 but yep I've done laundry while in port. The luggage God's smiled on me one cruise and the bag with the dirty clothes from WDW arrived first. It was one of the few times the place is relatively empty.

I was thinking last night that I better add an extra roll of quarters and some laundry detergent to my list. Everyone will be doing laundry at some point on a two week cruise and who knows if they will restock the vending machines.

Okay all you cruising experts -- here's a question or two.....

1. Do you know if the Disney Cruise line will actually ship items home for you that you buy onboard (like photo albums, etc.)?

2. Does anyone know if you can actually do laundry upon boarding the ship while it is still in dock? I know I know -- who wants to think about that crap while cruising, but since we will be spending the week before in Las Vegas and L.A., I will need to do laundry at some point or I'll be one of those people running around naked (trust me -- not a pretty site). Since I've been on the cruise so many times and don't feel the need to run for ressies, I could throw in a load or two before we sail. Just a thought.

Anyways-

The reason the ship can't ship stuff for you is because of customs won't allow them-actually the only thing they can ship is the auction pieces and this was don't with special permission! Just thought I would share!
