My previous post was an example of what would happen if Izzinmac was running our events. They would be scheduled for 9/5/05 also...Mark

What we have a pin too??!! Does it have a special design too?? Next you'll tell me the other repo cruise has one too for us to swap. I know, what do you guys think of a meet onboard?? Maybe an event like a wine tasting or something similar...Mark

Keep this up and Jazz and I may take you into JGE. Plagarism is our motto at JGE and I think you've got the hang of it :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

Grumbo, Tracy's right. She was given a pass on laundry duty due to all her hard work so far. I think we can squeeze Invaderzim into her slot, seeing as she just alerted us to the fact that she was passed over. She could also have an additional job of cleaning out the lint traps too...Mark

Oh no -- I have already unwittingly "volunteered" to try to put together a luncheon for the second half of the cruise. So if you want to give me folding duty, maybe I can fold laundry while I eat lunch???? :earboy2:

How can I not be nice to you after you've so graciously offered to have us all send our wine selection to you to bring to the ship for us. It's the least I could do...Mark
I'll be happy to accept all the wine you want to send, though I wouldn't count on it getting to the ship ;)

We'll need some wine to enjoy on our patio this spring and summer so PM me if you need the address :rotfl2:

He also spells like he's from New ENgland. Just because we add Rs where there are none and drop them where there are, doesn't mean we should spell that way! Get the idear?

I don't talk like that, but I'm from Northern Vermont (and part French-Canadian). My Dad is one of those people that says "Eh" after all of his sentances.

Do you listen to Rock 93.9/101.7? The station with Greg and the Morning buzz? Anyway, the station manager (and an on-air personality) for the station is Steve Smith. He's from Goshen, NH. He does a lot of the commercials for the station. The guy CANNOT say car or carpet (and we have a carpet store - called carpet mill - that has a sale every week). It comes out CEHRPET. I've NEVER heard anyone pronounce it that way before. When DH had them do the commercials for his business recently he explicitly said Steve Smith is NOT to do my commercials. The lady said "yeah, we get that a lot". Here's his bio http://www.wvrrfm.com/stevesmith.html . He bugs DH to know end because his first degree is in radio broadcasting and he worked for a station for about 1 1/2 years (on the air).

Ivanover are these also going to be special made type medallions? Any thought yet on their design?...Mark
The medallions will look just like the pins and roughly the same size (2 inches wide) ... of course the medallions won't have the pointy pin part on the back and will have a metal "loop" on the top (for those that want to hook it onto the bottom of a lanyard).

Suzanne: Congrats on your new addition! princess:

I will take 2 medallions at this point.

Well, I don't want to tread on any toes because so many people are planning so many things -- both before and during the cruise -- and doing an excellent job of it. But if you are all interested in a group lunch maybe during the second week of the cruise, and no one has already looked into it -- I'll jump in and take the challenge (GULP! :scared1: ) of trying to get info and seeing about arrangements (what am I, nuts?) :badpc:

Cathy

You GO Cathy! I think it's a great idea!

Nope, don't listen to that station. My DH might, but I very rarely have the stereo on. And If I am in my car, I usually listen to NHPR or CDs. (Think I drive less than 15 miles a week unless there is a visitor) I haven't found a radio station I really like.

Never heard the work cehrpet, and have been in the flooring busisness for 20 som years with DH. All my mothers family is from up heah, Boston, Watertown, Epping, etc., I have heard a lot of accents in my short life, and expect there will be many more. I do remember our servers on a cruise singing "Happy Bortday" to many tables!

Oh, forgot to mention -- Mark generously offered to buy all the drinks for the luncheon I'll be arranging! Ain't that nice???
