All this sweetness is just too much. I think that the cold has gotten to the men's brains and froze them.

I hope we can go on a couple of excursions.

Going for a romantic getaway this weekend. Dropping DD off at her godmother's tomorrow night and picking her up on Sunday. Fun will be had by all. Unfortunately, we are expecting a snowstorm tomorrow night.

We will be in Hilton Head for Valentine's day.

Good Morning to all of you. We too are looking at 2 inches of snow in the Lehigh Valley,Pa.. It was great fun watching all the kids in the neighborhood on sleds yesterday. Ya know your old when you have more fun watching than playing in it yourself.

Can anyone tell me if the dolphin swim shore excursions are generally worth the money? I've been told that they are very short and crowded events. Maybe best saved for Discovery Cove (if I ever get there).

Does anyone have input on any other excursions that were listed?

Not at all, Grahame!!! I DO apologize - someone earlier on had suggested gloves and tiaras for this event; after all, dressing like The Queen is part of High Tea, isn't it???

Coming from England yourself (and a resident of a Commonwealth country as well) I'm certain your dress will be absolutely appropriate to the occasion.

We are actually doing discovery cove sept 4 - day after we get off the repo cruise

You will have a great time there. Have you done this before? We did this about 4 years ago and spent the whole day there. It was well worth the money. We are planning on going back there when Haley is older so she can swim with the dolphins too.

Oh no, Golf and dockers are fine!! In fact, My Bob would like to join too for tea. Since Grahame will be going, i don't see why not that my bob will like to joined with him too. Put him down, Arlene. He himself will be wearing dockers and Golf shirt too. He loves those clothes.

Any one doing the dolphin excursion in Aculpoco or Curacao??? I hope to link my 14 year old up with someone who is going. I hate to have her miss it, but I probably won't be able to join her, as I'll have the baby with me. Flounders isn't usually open long enough hours on port days for me to leave the baby while I go swim with the dolphins. I'll go along to watch, but it would be nice if she could sort of hang out with someone from the ship????

I'll ask DD if she would be interested. I know she had a great time before. Will probably be Curacao though, 'cause I can't miss my CliffDivers!LOL

Oh boy, I hope I win! It's always nice when there is something from WDW coming your way.


You know, a lot of us have become close on this thread and in the last few days it seems that there has been a change in the tone of things. Maybe the teasing between the Sisterhood and the Looneyhoods got a little out of hand. Personally, I always thought it was all in fun, but someone new to the thread might see it as atagonistic. Perhaps Grahame feels the same, and Bob, too. I don't believe that anyone here has ever set out to hurt anyones feelings, Melinda was the first one to poke fun at herself over her deafness, I know that I am probably among the ones who are outspoken about a few things, but when it is the written word rather than the spoken, there are different interpretations. Unless you really know someone in person, it is not always easy to "read" what they mean.

All that being said, I think I like the new guys better. I really appreciate when husbands and wives treat each other with love and respect, and when menand women treat each other as decent human beings because that's only good manners.

I am truely looking forward to meeting all of you, Sisters, Looneys, not so Looneys, and everyone who doesn't want to be in any particular percieved clique. We all seem to get along well, I hope none of the teasing has caused any new people to think badly of us.

Let's not forget that our primary focuss is "Bringing the Magic Home".

Very well said, Marsha. I'm certainly sorry if anything I've posted has hurt anyone's feelings ~ that has never been my intention!

Given some of the "real-world" stresses of the past year, I am truly looking forward to this cruise as an adventure, an opportunity to spend some quality time with my husband and family, and to finally meet in person all the friends from this thread who I've met only through our online postings.

Let's keep the "Magic" in this thread while we're waiting to "Bring The Magic Home".
