Definitely count me in for the morning walk. As a member of the zipper club, I walk 4 miles a day now! I was hoping a group would get together for this!

Please call soon...operators are standing by!
OK. I've pretty much stayed out of the good-humored bantering going on around this thread.

1. Because I am not very good at it.
2. I lose track of this thread easily at least once a week.
and 3. You know the old saying ingrained by Mother, "If you can't say something nice..."

But...this was just down right funny! LOL (Sorry, Mark)

I know exactly what you mean by #3, Darlene!!! It used to be called "The Thumper Theory" when I was growing up in honour of Bambi - "If you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all"

The fools here are causing me to set it aside sometimes, though! :earseek:

Eileen- Sign me up at once. I must have one of those "Mark get out of my face" stun guns.

The idea of the walk in the mornings appeals to me and I think I can say my DH will be interested too. On our cruise in April we were relaxing on deck 4 and noticed that the captain was doing his power walking. He must have gone by at least 10 or 15 times. Really had worked up a sweat. Maybe we could invite him along. :teeth:

Right after my last post the Sun finally came out. 5 days of gray cloudy yucky weather is just not right. Tonight the stars are out and of course that means a nice cold night. Oh well at least it isn't snowing.

Estelle :flower1:

:earsgirl::earsboy:

I can just see it now...

All 200 of us doing laps around Deck 4 on sea day mornings.

I'll bring the Mimosas! ;)

I was actually wondering if they might have a yoga program on a few of the mornings. If they don't count me in for a few walks.

Has anyone heard anything about the Christmas cruise? Were there any special shows or dinners or anything? Paul, didn't you go on this cruise?
Maybe you could have Pam write us a small report.
Hi Denine! The cruise was the best one I've been on! What made it so good was the great group of DISers we sailed with!

Paul

Does anyone know what the great buys will be for any of the ports we will be visiting?

Just wanted to jump in here... I usually just lurk and have had a lot of fun getting to know everybody through their posts. And even though I don't post much I would really like to meet everybody once on board the ship.

Gabrielle

Hi Gabrielle, I'm always glad to see when more people join in. You got a great air fare - congrats!

I noticed that they did indeed offer these types of activities (yoga, pilates, kick boxing) on previous mornings. For a short time at the beginning of 2004 they started charging a fee for the classes but when we sailed with DCL a few months ago the fees had been removed.

I remember watching a yoga class that they offered on Serenity Bay!

Just wanted to say hi!!

Work has finally caught up with me and am busier than ever at home. I get sleepy much earlier at night now.

I have been lurking here but too tired to post.

I def. want to get that "Get out of my face, Mark" taser..Sign me up!! LOL!! Also, i will get up and walk with you too!! Not that i do it at home, but it will be fun on the deck...

Getting my 1st paycheck this week and going right to AAA to put toward the cruise payments. Bob is also teaching College one night a week starting next week and will use that paycheck toward the cruise..so i am glad it is working out...I was a lil worry how we were going to pay for this exp. cruise. Not a cheap trip, that is for sure...Not using DVC points at all for this vacation.

Uh, is anyone doing the live chat tonight?? Maybe i will see you there..If i can stay awake...

Later...

We really prefer to call it sight-seeing or people watching. It draws less attention to us.

Glad you're OK, Melinda! I was getting ready to PM you this morning if you hadn't checked in...

Combining work outside the home with everything you're responsible for there will definitely take some getting used to! You're smart to get the extra sleep you need while you're adjusting. We'll still be here whenever you're up to posting! :grouphug:

I'll try to make the chat tonight - of course, it starts right when I'm trying to get Lara to bed, so i may be late ...

Have a great day
