Hello Ginger and Pauline. Glad to hear you'll be aboard. I guess I'll join the Pauline club as that is my middle name and also was my Great Grandmother's name. Ginger how old is your daughter Ashley? I didn't realize we could book excursions already. If you book excursions now but change your mind later can you cancel with a full refund? I haven't spent a lot of time researching the various ports and may find there is something I'd rather do than whatever excursion I may purchase. On the other hand I don't want to lose a spot on an excursion that looks interesting!

Hi all!

Well it's offical, we, Bill, Ashley and I, are as good as sitting on the ship now.
I paid off our cruise last night . Our air has been reserved and paid for and we're booked for Thursday and Friday night at the Hoilday Inn in SP, Cal.
TA told me that Disney said I could call today and reserve our excursions. Wow! I couldn't believe that since it's usually 60 days before the cruise.
Still not sure if we will have early or late dining and no room number yet.

You can book excursions now???????

EDITED TO ADD: No -- I called the Disney Excursion line and they said you can only book excursions 90 days out. Not sure who told you you could book now -- unless you are on the May Repo Cruise???

I have a question: what is the issue with the Zazzle site? I have read many comments and it sounds like they are not a good company to deal with. Have there been problems receiving merchandise?

I had many problems getting my shirts when I ordered through them. When they finally did send them to me, they were wrong! It's a very long story, but I will never order from them again.

I think your TA may have spoken too soon. I believe you can only book excursions when you are 90 (I thought they changed it to 75) days out AND PAID IN FULL. You have the paid in full part correct, but I do not think you can book excursions until 90 days out....

If you can, wow...I had better start planning!!!

NO. As I said a few posts back, I called DCL myself and spoke with the shore excursion rep. You cannot book more than 90 days out. I double-checked and asked her to make sure that they weren't doing something different for the Repo cruisers, but she said no.

Good morning friends! I have been working on the SHip of FOols Store at Cafe Press, I should be getting the Pin Art uploaded this weekend, alond with something special for the Sisterhood. It does take some tweaking to get the art the correct size. I am used to sending in artwork and having someone else do it, but I like a challange.

Hmmmm, I wonder if I get a share of the proceeds! When I was at my last place of work, on of the technicians that worked in the center was last name Mallow. Of course many people thought it would have been funny if we hooked up and I became Marsha Mallow.

I was thinking of driving over, DH will be home for the whloe 3 day weekend, that is more time than I need to be in the house with him! LOL, don't get me wrong, I love my husband more than anything, but he travels a lot, and when he is home, it throws my alone routine out of whack!

When we sailed in August, we had booked our excursions ahead of time. When it came time for the Tulum Ruins one, I was not feeling well and had been sick all night. My DH went to the excursion desk and after much cajoling, they did refund my ticket. I don't think they would have refunded for all three -- but I think because two of them were still going, it was okay. However, they did tell him that had we booked the excursions on the ship, the cancellation policy is not as strict as if you book them over the phone. Of course, then you run the risk of having the excursions full by the time you board.

My husband and I have been very very sad that it was looking like we had to cancel our May repositioning cruise due to factors beyond our control. This morning I was getting ready to call and "do the deed" when DH suggested that we see if we can transfer our reservation to another cruise so that we don't lose our rebooking credits from way back when. I looked on the DCL website and figured just for kicks I'd see if there was any availability on this repo cruise and there was a single category 9 room available. I called my TA and grabbed it quickly even though it will cost $2,300 more than the cat 11 we booked so long ago.

So I'm still kid of devistated over having to cancel the May cruise, but this is a real possibility. Do you guys have room for 2 more? I don't have time to read all 750 (!!!) pages of this thread. Is there a highlights version somewhere? I'm still shaking from making the switch, we have been SO sad about missing out on this cruise.

What's the Womens Expo? I doubt I'll be down for it anyway...I have a pretty busy weekend coming up. I have to work at some point (either Saturday or Monday) and we're going to visit our parents on Sunday, so I don't think I'll have time. I'm sure it would be interesting though...
