Ok, have I lost it or what? I have gone back pages and pages and even more pages. I am looking for a post that had to do with Curacao info and I believe it also included another port and I think it was Cabo San Lucas. I called for the DVD from the Curacao link so that isn't it. It was just within the last week. I believe it was a link to a website. Can anyone help me?

Denine, can Ted and I come too? We won't take up too much space! We need it after the bad news on the car yesterday. Does anyone have 900.00 to loan? Yea right, you are all saving for the cruise. Excuses, excuses.

There is another thread that has port information and it is on the main cruise board. I'll try to find it and bump it to the top for you.

congrats to my DW (Pam) on her 40 very something birthday tomorrow and to Piglet33 on her celebration on Saturday.

Hopefully you'll both get what you deserve!!!! :rotfl:

Allan

Thank you very much for the birthday wish. So how did you know?

Reneé

Sandy: If you and Ted can get to Ohio by Saturday night, we will let you come with us. Of course, some babysitting will be involved! ;)

Did I read right? Even on a shuttle in CA you have to have your child in a car seat? I was really hoping not to have to take it and bump into it for 2 weeks on the ship. We would only need it for the ride from the airport to the hotel. DD will be 3 at the end of September.

I also remembered, we need to get our Park Hoppers for our DL stay.

There are great links to the info on the other site.

Yes, that's what I found out too. I'm bringing Haley's highback booster seat so that wouldn't have been a problem for me.

Gotta agree - great place to eat - not cheap usually - if you eat there (buffet or off the menu) I highly recommend the corn chowder -it's to die for IMHO :)

No problem, Denine. Babysitting angelic Kaleigh would be a pleasure.

I am remembering a little more about the link I am looking for. The person said that it was in PDF format and it was a great brochure. I just checked the "other site" and also the sisterhood thread and can't find it. I know someone posted something. I should have marked it right then and there knowing how fast this thread grows! :guilty:  Thanks to all of you who have addressed this to me via pm or here. Maybe the one that posted it will know.

Grumbo, Thanks for the interesting info on cruising for teens from Toronto Star. We don't know how our teenage Joy will find this cruise. Last one we did with her, she spent so long chatting on the internet to on line friends, she came back from holiday paler than we she left! However, two years on, she's older, more amenable and happier in her skin - sometimes. Other times she is still a miserable grump!

OMG!! You're describing my DD (soon to be 15)!! :rotfl2: Although on the ships she seems to have a swell time, and the "grump" part doesn't reappear until disembarkation (and it's freaky how it hits her in the baggage claim area  )

Yes, Yes, Yes! I knew I couldn't be the only one with a child like Joy. It doesn't help in the difficult times, of course, but it is good to know I am not alone!

I'm off to bed now, to join my sniffly, snuffly DH who thinks he has 'flu, but really just has a cold. He can't have 'flu, he's far too interested in the golf on TV from Pebble Beach!

Night all!

I agree with Piglet - we are going to be gone for a total of 24 days and to park the car at the airport would cost between $170 to $200. We can get Rapid Rover round trip for only $90 total (with tip). Plus we don't have to schlep our luggage on the shuttle from the parking lot or back.

Some of our local hotels (Holiday Inn) near the airport have a park and fly option. You book a room 1 night before you are ready to fly and you can park your car in their lot for up to 30 days. They shuttle you back and forth to the airport. Cost for around here is $100 or so. Check into your options because you wouldn't need to hassle with a rental car and it might be the same price or cheaper.

Thank you so much, you made DD's day. She is in her room happily pouring over them both. Looks like a junior trip planner is in the making :teeth:
