Our youngest DD has agreed to come to the meet tomorrow. I think she is really hoping that she'll get to shop. So there will be one person who isn't going on the cruise.
So Phil and Jen and I will see you all tomorrow at 11:15 at the California Pizza Kitchen.

To all you fellow DISers, In case you missed the post by twhipple, she is trying to organize a "hat party" for Aunty Brat. Aunty Brat has recently undergone chemotherapy and as a side effect she has lost her hair. Tracy is collecting hats and will send them in a big box to help cheer Aunty Brat. Anyone interested in participating can send tracy (twhipple) a PM. I think it is a great idea and a nice way to show a fellow DISer that we care.

The Disney Dudettes can't make the KOP meet either. Joyce alias Disney Dudette #3 was on vacation this week & hurt her back lifting a box of books so she is bedridden. I feel a little funny going by myself. We both wanted so much to go to the meet.

Too tired to catch up on the boards tonight (after working 12 hours Thursday & Friday) but will try to catch-up tomorrow. Toodles JEANNE

Really sad about missing the KOP meet today. I went to the pool for the first time ALL summer today but it showered lightly while I was at the pool.

Just got home from our DIS meet (had a great time) and no t-shirts from zazzle.com like they promised. I checked the DHL tracking number and found out that the shirts are scheduled to arrive on Monday, August 2 instead of today like they were supposed to. Guess they decided to not pay for Saturday delivery.

When Monday comes, will the shirts arrive??? It's anyone's guess at this point.

So the saga continues.....

OOOH, Nice picture, Andy!! made me excited about DL!!!

While i was sad about meeting the Dismeet today but i did get to see my great aunt who is 96 years old and looks fantastic!! Nothing stopped her from moving all around, she told me that she actually walks around the block in the mornings( she is in better shape than me!!) and her mind....WOW!!! She is sharper than me!!! You would think she is only 70 years old!! I told her i hope to be like her at that age...but i doubt it!!!

Just saw this on the other repo thread. DL is putting together a photomosaic of people at DL over the past 50 years. Sounds cool. If you are selected, they will tell you where your picture is in the photomosaic. It'll be on display at DL for the 50th! Just caught up on the last few days...and just finished emailing guest services regarding the port change. Yes, I know we're all lucky to be on this cruise, and yes I could cancel but won't...but sleeping in Acapulco ? !!! I said I would rather the time be added to Puerto Quetzal so we could do excursions, or Mazatlan, or a port on the Atlantic side. I also called DCL...the rep I spoke with said mine was the first complaint she has heard...thought I read somewhere that lots of people have been calling in ?

They announced this on DLs 49th birthday. There were 1100 CMs and their guests creating a huge Mickey mosaic in front of the castle. We were holding up 3 feet by 3 feet cards of pictures of Castmembers. They gave us a little brochure announcing this, and they show some samples of what they are doing. I really need to scan this in because I haven't seen these on the internet yet. They're going to have a bunch of them all over DL and DCA. I really must look through my pictures and send some in. I think they're excepting them through the end of this year, but I don't remember the exact cut off date.
