Ok, I am ready here while i am at it!!!!! WHO IS FIRST???????

Mark, Mark Mark, you dissapoint me!! First of all, i don't get beer for my dh...He gets it himself or i simply get it for him w/o him asking!!! :p and FURTHERMORE, you really don't know my Bob!! See, he does not plop on the couch EVER!!! NO SIREE!! He has an Type A personality and obsessed with cleaning and getting things done around the house....He is on the GO every minute!!! So much you know!!!! And also, i take back my vote!!! The chad wasn't punched thru all the way so therefore you got no vote!!

Bob, Izzinmac...Fool around again with someone else's quotes, you can be sued for LIBEL!!! By the way, i see that you were lurking over at the 11/28 Wonder Movies forums and wrote about Geico Insurance...ha ha ha you're so funny!! I simply told them that you were bragging about it here...

Densie W: Palos sounds good for them ,..Perhaps we should make red hats for the guys????

Barbara, My DH says "Yes Dear" to me also...Well Barbara, you are just doing fine here!! But i am with you...Forget Mark!! He just like the rest of them!!! We are the sisters soriety!!!!!

1. It is important to find a man who works around the house, occasionally cooks and cleans, and
who has a job.

Guys, already found him and married him!!!!!:teeth:

We are in the discussion phases of allowing Mark to join as a (junior) partner in JGE. Keep in mind that this is subject to the following 3 conditions:

1. acceptance by the JGE Board of Directors
2. receipt of JGE initiation fee
3. successfully passing the entrance examination

My daughter Heather (heathychanjellicle) has proposed the following logo which would reflect Mark's importance in the organization...

Hi Mark, Barbara and the gals would be more than happy to spend all of their vacation serving the Ship Of Fools (guys). I can at least authorize Barbara to make her famous 7 layer bean dip and bring us drinks whenever we ask. This will allow her to have the vacation of her dreams HA. Drinks will be on Barbara during the poker games, her money is extra anyway.

DH - Just remember who you live with and who you will come home with! No more "extras" for you for three more days!

So Mark, now you're talking with my dh are you? Just remember, our ressies are locked in our safe, but I have the key and will have our docs too. And, if I have to, I'll steal dh's KTTW and then heist you men to serve tea and crumpets to we ladies in Palos!!!

Dh is taking ds to a friend's, so don't even think about contacting him anytime soon!

Melinda, where are you????!!!

Had to get my magnifier to see if i can see the "M"...Oh i think i see it or er, is is that a dead bug???

Great logo Heather, but Mark has a long, bad history and should never ever be considered for this sacred position...unfortunately, neither should the other two. This is a woman's only corporation, and I'm sure your dear mother is very worthy and qualified. Would you mind making a new logo with the initials of your mother, Grumbo's dw, and include Melinda on it would ya?

Nite all!

as for the M... it is not a dead bug... its just a leak in the ink... :D :D

Just some things to remember

1. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is,
won't make you cry.

2. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want
them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

3. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and
touches your heart.

4. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside
them knowing you can't have them.

5. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know
who is falling in love with your smile.

6. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you
may be the world.

7. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to
waste their time on you.

8. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before
meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet
the person, we will know how to be grateful.

9. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

And some things I've learned----

I've learned that the best classroom in the world is at the
feet of an elderly person.

I've learned that when you're in love, it shows.

I've learned that just one person saying to me, "You've made
my day!" makes my day.

I've learned that having a child fall asleep in your arms is
one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.

I've learned that being kind is more important than being right.

I've learned that you should never say no to a gift from a child.

I've learned that I can always pray for someone when I don't
have the strength to help him in some other way.

I've learned that no matter how serious your life requires
you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.

I've learned that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to
hold and a heart to understand.

I've learned that simple walks with my father around the block on
summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I've learned that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The
closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned that we should be glad God doesn't give us
everything we ask for.

I've learned that money doesn't buy class.

I've learned that it's those small daily happenings that make
life so spectacular.

I've learned that under everyone's hard shell is someone who
wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned that the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What
makes me think I can?

I've learned that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I've learned that when you plan to get even with someone, you
are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

I've learned that love, not time, heals all wounds.

I've learned that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is
to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

I've learned that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted
with a smile.

I've learned that there's nothing sweeter than sleeping with
your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.

I've learned that no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

I've learned that life is tough, but I'm tougher.

I've learned that opportunities are never lost; someone will take
the ones you miss.

I've learned that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will
dock elsewhere.

I've learned that I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her
one more time before she passed away.

I've learned that one should keep his words both soft and tender,
because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I've learned that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I've learned that I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what
I do about it.

I've learned that when your newly born grandchild holds your little
finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.

I've learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but
all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

I've learned that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances;
when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.

I've learned that the less time I have to work with, the more things
I get done.

Congratulations Melinda...
I go out for the evening and you push ahead to averaging 4.01 posts per day!!!!!!
Youse da man,,, Well da WoMAN anyway...
Good job you Bob provides you with such a wondeful life, or you'd be slipping back on your average.
Bob I will have to buy you a couple of beers. How do you get any computer use at home, or fed after a gruelling day of work. Thank goodness for Swanson and Kraft. :hyper: :hyper:

That should elicit at least 6 or 7 posts :)

Cheers,
Grumbo

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: What a day you've all had!

Count me in for the Fools' Sisterhood Alliance! Whatever you need, ladies - I'm There! Glad to see you held your own today, and even triumphed!

Of course, I was MIA today so I could spend hours cooking a special Japanese meal for my DH's birthday. (I offered to take him to the restaurant of his choice - he chose to have me make his favourite Inari Sushi and chow mein here at home! Since I'm English Canadian, I never learned this kind of cooking from my mother ;) It took HOURS!!!!!)

BTW, he's gonna fit in just fine with the rest of you men - when telling me what he wanted for his birthday, he said it would be "nice to have a nice home-cooked meal more than once a year"!!! When I obviously objected to this statement, he quickly clarified it to cover only the special sushi - "You cook at least two or three times a year"!:earseek:

What is it about men that they love controversy??!?

Janet - my arm's feeling better today; but I'm quitting the flu shots! Someone said the dizziness/racing pulse reaction could get progressively worse with future shots. Good enough for me - I'll take my chances on the flu next year WITHOUT the shot!

Mark - you're like Jekyll and Hyde! One minute you're evilly siding with Grumbo and Jazz (or is that grovelling to get into their "Enterprise"? ) and the next you're posting all these lovely sentimental/inspirational messages!

Take care, everyone! I'm off to bed now - I'll check in earlier tomorrow!

Arlene
