August 2, 2011 disney dream

I have added your thread to the 2011 Dream Cruise Meet list...:thumbsup2

:lovestruc

I'm here!!!!!! Thanks for starting a thread!

I am booked with DGDwhowillbe16 in 2010. This is my Sweet 16 gift to her, to take her on this cruise with some park time after. We are in a Cat 10A, Cabin 8679.

Grammie Nancy - 6th Disney cruise, 2nd on the Dream
Sweet 16 Nicole - first time cruiser!

Finally another cruiser, welcome aboard. Our Grandson will just be 16 for this cruise. Look forward to keeping in touch over the next 575 days

We are trying to decide between this cruise or the Aug. 30th Wonder cruise to Alaska. We already have the Alaska one booked, but this double dip sounds so nice and I want to be on the new ship. Also I am worried about the weather in late August in Alaska. Decisions, decisions.

Well we switched our Alaskan cruise to this one. I don't have a cabin number yet, but it will be in a category 9A stateroom. Our first oceanview cabin. Can't wait to see the new ship. Of course it won't be that new by then.

Welcome aboard! I think the ship will still feel very new in August! I'm on the Alaska cruise in May but just plan to bring layers to deal with the weather!

We are doing a b2b! We'll be on July 29th four night and then this five night. We are a family of 6. Here's our crew and their ages at the time we will be cruising:
Me - 35
DH - 34
DD - 2 (3 1/2 months shy of being 3)
DD - 4 (3 1/2 months shy of being 5)
Gma (my mom) - 61
Nephew - 17

We are sure hoping our then 2 1/2 year old will be potty trained!

Great to have company on both cruises. Do you know your cabins? We're in 6166,68 & 70. Kids are very excited

Well for now we are in 2511 & 2515. We needed to secure the same cabins on both sailings so we took these. We are hoping for better as some people (hopefully) cancel or change their bookings. We at the very least would like to get connecting or side by side cabins. There is one room in between these two (I think).

I hear ya! Our DD (age 3) is already talking about the club. We showed her pictures online. She can't wait to see "Andy's" room. She's already telling people that Mickey is building a new boat!

We booked this cruise with points thru DVC. We were in cat 10a but upgraded to 8D after much thought. Our daughter has two little ones and our son has a 16 yo horse, taller than his grandparents! So the extra space will help them, if I would have known they'd put us in cabins right across the hall I would have kept us in our old cabin.

We also booked a Hawaii cruise for September as an early 40th Anniversary present.

We met a couple from Japan on our Mexican Riviera Cruise in 2005 and stayed in touch, they are going on a Europe cruise on the Magic and have been thinking about booking this cruise while on board.

Nutty4Disney glad you decided to switch. Who's all you bringing?

It will be me and my DH. We will be celebrating our 11th anniversary onboard. I hope we can book Palo for that night - August 5th. We hope to spend a couple of days at the park before hand. I can't wait to see the ship and get up the nerve to get on AquaDuck. Two days at Castaway Cay sounds like heaven right now.

Hi! Haven't booked yet, but I am considering either this sailing or the 8/7 one... We would be using DVC points so I'm waiting to see how this summer goes before I commit exchanging them for a cruise. However, I would have a 16y/o daughter as well, so I'm glad to see others at this point. She's already grumbling that she wouldn't be allowed to bring a friend!

Booked on deck 6 for 5 of us with an ocean view.
Me 65
DD 43
GD 21 College graduation celebration
GS 15
GD 11 Birthday celebration

Looking forward to talking with you during the year and 2 months.

We must be very close to you, 08066 here just off exit 18 of 295. Always great when you can cruise with extented family.

We are arriving July 28th so the countdown for us is 448 days my GS says it's too far out to think about, but I'm the crazy one and have been counting down for a while now.

Family cruises are what I live for :cloud9::love:
