It's been a few weeks since I last popped in here. Time is flying faster than I can keep up with.

to all the new shipmates!!!

It does look like there will be a lot of teens and preteens. My kids are thrilled and are looking forward to meeting all of you on board. They are not big computer people.....yet.

Is anyone organizing a list of our group? I will do it if nobody else is. Just PM me or post the info.

Perhaps it could be:
DIS name, name or code + age of the children, early/late seating for dinner

EX:
Dizzyworld, DH, DS13, DD12-- Early OR
Shirley, Ron, Alex/Ace (13), Allison (12) -- Early

Should we add room numbers too?

This list would be helpful in buying things for a gift exchange for the children/teens if we are doing one.

hello i am shelby and i am 12 my sister is 14 amd then their is my 2 parents mike and patti. i was wondering if you have found fish extenders yet, my mom has looked in the dollar store and has not found any thing yet. this is our first time on the disney cruise and we could use some help. talk to you later

As for fish extenders, it is hit or miss if you find them. I don't have it either. On our last cruise, we had a large number of people giving little gifts and they fit fine on the fish outside your door. I might have seen 2 fish extenders. Good luck.

BTW.....My DD Allison will also be 12 when we sail. It's nice to know she will have some new friends to meet. Her brother will be a few weeks shy of his 14th B-day.

Today my parents went to big lots and the dollar staro and they scored big. they found fish extenders, but they only came with 3 pokets so we bought 2 and cut off a poket and sewed it to the other one (we r a family of 4). Also they found alot of little gifts for kids but we are looking for things for adults

The gifts sound very nice. If you like them, I'm sure other kids will too. I will alert Allison and Ace about you and your sister. The next two weeks they will be away for camp or going to camp from home in the daytime and swim team meets and soccer practice in the evening. So maybe they can write after those two weeks. It is going to be crazy around here.

That sounds great. We picked up some POTC gifts at a party store (stickers, tattoos, and pens) for the little ones. Of course I have the glow sticks too Not sure yet for the adults.

yea we are looking for pirate stuff but we found alot of cute stuff for girl and boy butwe are still looking for the adults as well

I could be wrong but, aren't the gifts supposed to be a surprise? I thought that was why everyone was going to pm what they were thinking of bringing so there weren't many duplicates It doesn't matter, it's all good fun!

BTW, I was at the Disney Store yesterday...great sales! They had tshirts for kids and adults for 2.99; and everything on sale was an extra 40% off. I even got my DH a bathing suit. Most of the sale stuff was too big to carry on an airplane for the gift exchange, but they had some great ideas for less than a dollar. Happy shopping!

Last year Allison brought her soccer ball with her. She was having so much fun that it never left her bag. I told her this year it stays home. Soccer camp this week will be in some really hot weather for Baltimore, around 100°. Too hot for me. Even though this is a residential/sleepover camp, we will stop by in the evening to watch the games. Alli usually plays goalie. She makes me very nervous.
