Out of curiosity, when did you ask him to make this? I asked him to make some for our family May 30th and then sent him a "second request" about a month later but so far I've heard nothing. Thought I would ask one final time around July 30th if I still have not heard...
(I do hate to bother him as he is really really nice to make all these)

I asked around that time or maybe a little later in June. He made this one great, but unfortunately but NJ, instead of NY on our personal ones. I asked him to change it but he has not responded. I think he must have a lot going on, and since he does this a kind service I feel weird bugging him....I may be able to doctor mine up in photoshop...I will experiment and let you know.

Hi everyone. We are going to be on the cruise for our honeymoon and are really excited!

I just stumbled across the board and I'm hoping you guys can help.


Our flight is not departing from BCN until 4:00 on the 28th, so we would like to take some time to explore the city. However, we are afraid that this will be impossible because we will be lugging all that luggage around.

Any suggestions? What are other people doing

Welcome guys....I did my honeymoon on a European cruise and it's something I'll never forget. We are staying in Barcelona until Sunday,. Not sure what we'll do with our luggage until we can check into our hotel. I know there are tours you can book that you get taken around in a private car and your luggage will be with you.

Did my week 4 day 1 today, I am afraid I had to walk on the second run of 4 minutes for several paces and again on the 3rd and 5th run. Not for long, but recovery time of 1 minute between, was just too short for me. Not sure whether to go back to Week 3 again, or perservere until I can combat week 4!!! How are you Lori?

We prepaid ours when we paid for the cruise. It was an option we took. We also did this last,, but because it was a Travel Agents offer, it was included in the price. On the last day of the cruise we were given little slips of paper for our relevant servers etc., which we put in envelopes and handed to them. Those that had gone the extra, were added to with some euros (we didn't have an dollars!).

It was a very easy way of doing it and we weren't fishing around for notes on the last days. It also got rid of some euros too.

Hey girls!!! We are still looking for another family who wants a private tour of Barcelona on debarkation day! It's a 4-5 hour tour, in an AC mini van- they keep our luggage and drop us off at our hotel (I am staying near plaza catalunya so somewhere near there). Let me know if you are interested. it's 59-69 euro pp.

We've never been on a Disney Cruise, and have never done the FE. We signed up for it, and I'm sure there's information somewhere along the threads, but are these gifts to be made or bought, and are there separate gifts for the adults vs. kids? Any guidance would be appreciated. BTW I see you live in Rockaway Park, we live in Island Park (Long Beach) so we're practically neighbors We're also on the same deck (7578).

Since you are staying at a hotel, you know you can just go there upon debarkation, check in (even if your room isn't ready) and leave your luggage with bell services (and your valuables in the safe at the front desk)? We always do this when travelling, as we tend to take an early flight to get as much time as possible where we are visiting.... It's much more problematic if you are going home the same day.....

Another neighbor! We are actually in Port Washington and have lots of friends in Long Beach!

In terms of the FE. There is no limit as to what how small the gift could be. It could be handmade, or bought. Usually most people give one thing for the adults, and another for the kids.

Some people give candy, gum, Disney goodies or things like mini wine keychains etc. Others who are crafty make scrapbook, frames etc. There are really no rules (excpet the gifts be family appropriate lol!).
