I agree with Mindy. the euro went below 1.28 today. My DH is hoping to see it sink to 1.15. the financial messes in greece, spain and portugal will continue to drive it down.

On Saturday...it will be 100 days until I leave for Barcelona and Monday will be 100 days until the ship departs......![]()
I'm going to. He knows the ship like the back of his hand, so I'm not worried about him. He's also not the type to go off on his own and wander. I do know the Lab does page you when they leave, so that gives me a little comfort. It's more so he can sign himself in, than out. I doubt he'll leave at all, without parental interference!!!!!!!Lori,
Are you giving your 9 year old sign out priveleges. I keep waffling on this. My son is so impulsive that he doesn't think before he does things....I'm not sure what I want to do...I don't want to treat them like babies...but then again...I don't want to find out he decided to see what it would be like to swim in the ocean.

Hello Cruisers!
Just returned from our cruise 4/24-5/5. It was wonderful!!!
A note though for anyone with the Pompei/Amalfi excursion.
This was a fantastic excursion, however, if you are on it be sure to sit on the right side of the bus. The right side enjoys the beautiful sea views, while the left views mainly consist of a rock wall and other tour busses.
Hope your cruise is as magical as ours was!

Hey Mary -
Just wanted to let you know we're switching hotels in Paris. We're either staying at the Westin (we're starwood gold members) or Marriott Champs Elysse. Dh stays at the Marriott in SLC whenever he goes out there for business, usually 2-3 times a year and we'll have enough points to stay there for FREE, after his next trip. We're hoping there still will be availability when he returns (mid-July), if not, we'll probably be at the Westin. Since we're only there a couple of days wanted to stay in a more central location.
We've also decided to stay at Le Meridien in Barcelona. I've read some strange reviews of Rivoli, like they charge for in-room safes, making us wary staying there. We'd DEFINITELY need one of those, so I don't want to stay somewhere where there is a charge for one! Makes me wonder how safe those safes really are. We're starwood people as DH says, we're westin vacation club members, so we LOVE the heavenly beds!!!!! When it's time to replace my current bed, that's what we're buying!!!!!!!
That's great news! The westinn seems really nice. We looked at it but it was abit pricey. Le Meridian also looks fantastic.
Actually it isn't too bad. I think it's 299 EUR per night and we got a special that gives us 50% off our 2nd room, so total it's like 450 EUR a night. Not bad considering it's a 5 star and an AWESOME location!!!!!!
100 DAYS FROM TODAY I WILL BE ON A FLIGHT TO BARCELONA....YE HA

Wow we are in double digits until our flight to Barcelona. I can't remember if there was anyone else on that flight. We still need to come up with our "cover story".
Happy Mother's Day Everyone!!![]()
