August 17, 2013 - A Fantasy Cruise to Paradise

Hi,

Hope you're all ok. We've been away from this forum for way too long and, as we have just paid our cruise in full, we thought we would check in with you all again.

We are getting really excited now as it is a huge surprise for our kids.

As far as the FE list goes we would like to be on one list please as this sounds like a great idea to us.

Thanks for all of your work on this for us.

Trying to decide on a the best value snorkelling excursion.. Any ideas?

Welcome back!
As long as you don't tell me otherwise you will only be on one list for the FE! :thumbsup2

I updated the list, noticing that you are on deck 2 and your friends on deck 10. Let me know how you want me to handle this on the FE as I want to split by decks.
Would you be comfortable to "privately" add your friends to the list you will be on (lower decks) and

I do not think I can private message yet. I think you should put the Sun family with the upper deck cruisers. we dont have to be n the same group. You may list them however you want (mkmouse-group2)? They are loads of fun and looking forward to this, but just arent good at these types of forums.

Thank you. I am glad to know you don't mind to be in different groups. :thumbsup2

Hi there, my husband and I would like to join the mixology class if you're still adding folks to the list.
Thank you,
Christine and Rob 10086

Newbies. We're new to the list, should I be joining via FB?

DIZneet will set you up with the fish extender.

Plan to join the DISmeet, August 17, 3:15 pm in the Bon Voyage lounge adjacent to the atrium on Deck 3. I will bring name tags.

Will be there for the meet at 3:15. See you all

Thanks, Keever, we were looking to sign up for the mixology class. We're not sure we can swing the FE yet. For the DISmeet our DD Olivia (12) is also traveling with us.

New cruiser here... This will be our first DCL cruise. Our family of 5, including kids ages 15, 13, and 6 and my in-laws (we'll be celebrating their 60th anniversary). Booked about a week ago. We'll be in 2 verandah cabins on Deck 9. Can't wait!

Not sure about joining the FE group... will look into what is involved and consider.

Staying up til midnight in hopes of getting Remy and Palo ressies and an early boarding time. Not sure anything will be left since we're not Castaway Club, but worth a try.

:wave2:Newbie here. We went on a last minute cruise on the Dream last summer and loved it. You'd think we could get our act together for the next cruise, but here we are again wanting to go but not booked yet! If our TA can find us a handicap accessible room, it looks like we might make it on this cruise.

We did not participate in an fe last cruise and I see that this one doesn't cut off until June 30. I have some questions if you don't mind in case we can make this cruise and get in on the exchange.

How are people starting their gifts if you don't know yet who is in your group and their ages?

Once your group is defined, is it permissible to communicate with them to find out about things like allergies, are your children allowed to have candy, does alcohol offend you, etc.?

Thanks in advance for your patience.

Hello Dizneeat and cruisers.
I have our cabin number and list:
Adults : Danielle & Allen

So you are a new cruiser! How exciting. I am sure you will enjoy DCL, it is very easy to enjoy yourself on these cruises. ;)

There is still time to decide if you want to join the FE exchange. All I can tell you is, that it is a lot of fun. :thumbsup2

Did you manage to get all the reservations you wanted? I really hope so. :goodvibes

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that your TA will find you a HA stateroom.
You asked about the FE exchange. Usually you just look at the online list and that will tell you who to "shop" for.
This time, as there are a lot of people taking part we have decided to split the FE list. We will do that by pulling together decks. So people on your deck will most likely be in your group as well as people beneath you.
And you are free to communicate with people in your group. Since everyone in your group knows who is in that particular group anyway, you may ask them as many questions as you want.
Hope that helped. :goodvibes

FE participants list with details

:rainbow: Important news for FE participants! :rainbow:

Our list is constantly growing, so we have decided that once we reach our cut off date, which will be June 30th, we will divide the group into smaller groups. This should work like this ......

Groups will have around 50 people in it (adults AND children)
Groups will be divided by decks that are close together (to save on running around)
If you want to be in more than 1 group please just let me know, so I can put you on all/1 other list.
Hope this is in everyones interest! :thumbsup2

I have set you up for mixology although our numbers are getting quite high so I am not sure how this works. We leave town tomorrow for the Canadian Grand Prix so I will try to get on top of this when I get back.

Hi and welcome, hope you get the room you need and you can join us.

Picking up on your note of allergies, candy & alcohol.........is anyone adverse to anything:confused3

I'm allergic to Penicillin but confident no-one was planning to put that in my FE:rotfl2:

If however Ryan Reynolds appears in my FE that would be appreciated :cool1:

Looking forward to meeting you all soon
