I am getting excited that we will be on the ship for 8 nights! We have only ever done the 4 days cruises....so having 8 sleeps will be HEAVEN

If anyone is interested in going to Atlantis, they are running a special. The room rates are $139 per night. You have to book two nights but if you are party of 4 (2 adults and 2 children - 11years or younger), the cost is about $400, which is cheaper than DCL. The price includes taxes and fees. You can go directly to the Atlantis site.

Just priced it today it is $99 per night. Cost would be $300. Now I need to make a decision Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter or Atlantis!

But, we were in NYC over the weekend and walked to the port to see the Magic pull out for this week's adventure. So great to hear that horn again!

Anyway...I'm sure you are all aware of the Comfort Suites in the Bahamas and that you can use the Atlantis facilities...might be worth checking out the price.

We live in Manhattan, not far from the pier. We are very excited about going on a vacation where we can be there in just a few minutes. It is our second Disney cruise.

hello fellow 8/17 NY / Bahamas cruisers. I know everyone is getting just as excited as we are. I have been reading a couple if other threads how the Magic could REALLY use some new bed linens so I got to thinking...how difficult could it really be for DCL to some new ones. This should be something fairly easy for Disney to do. i know i would really appreciate it and I was wondering who felt the same as I do and was willing to help me with my plan in hopes that DCL might hear us future cruisers. I am going to send DCL an email stating what I've read from past recent cruisers regarding the bed linens and was wondering if they could possibly be replaced starting with these NY based cruises. I realize putting in anything new outside of a drydock is more work but this wouldn't be a huge overhaul but manageable. I'm mainly speaking of getting new bedding for the beds in the stateroom.

so if anyone wants to join me in my quest of requesting new bedding to go on the Magic just think about sending DCL an email and remember Disney aims to please!

Who is keeping tabs on the FE list?? I remember there being a list somewhere - but i can't find it...

We are in stateroom 6152 amd yes I am begining to map out what we are going to give for the FE Run. Last year I waited to the last moment to do one particular item and I felt rushed working on my FE crafts - so I thought I'd get a head start this time around...

Has anyone decided a cut off date for the FE??

I am glad I found this thread...tried the forum on cruise critic and no one is really active on there for Disney! We are a party of 7...2 kids ages 7 and 9, me and my husband, my sister, and my parents! Look forward to meeting everyone! Now I have to read the thread and catch up!!! Would love to do the FE's too!!!

It looks like you may be considering a move to a different cruise as well. What do we do now to keep the FE list? I saw another cruise on the list for Magic 2012 that had a seperate link for FE list. Maybe something like that?
