I have been debating on booking a room at OKW on 8/22 through DVC (I would prefer BLT, but it is sold out). I'd like to WDW for as long as possible that day, but with my bad knee a 12+ hour day may just be too much & it would be nice to have a room to crash in if necessary. Since it is just me & DS (12) I am leaning towards a studio, but if anybody is interested in sharing with me, we can go larger. Let me know!

Tricia, I just pmed you.

Thank you! I stayed at the British Colonial almost 17 years ago. It definitely wasn't part of Hilton. If I am remember correctly it has a small beach area and you have clear view of the cruise ships that are docked. That is definitely a great price. I think I read somewhere that Sheraton also has a day package. Does anyone have a preference?

Hi Everyone! me and my dad are considering going on this cruise for my 18th birthday! I was just wondering if there are any kids my age that I could hang out with since ill be alone and also what kind of stuff there is for my dad to do! (we have never been on a disney cruise before but are both very big disney fans! ) Thanks a lot :D

Hi Michelle! Welcome

My niece turns 18 on August 16th, so I thought we could bring her, but my sister said no :(

There will be plenty of kids your age on the ship. My son is 16, and the kids club "bore" him. This will be his 6th Disney cruise, so if anything, he can show you around! He'll be looking to make friends outside the kids club.

As for you dad, tell him there will be MUCH for him to enjoy.

Usually when the summer comes around, I want it to drag but now August can't get here fast enough.

We were able to see the Magic as she passed along the New Jersey coastline around 8 p.m. this evening. It just makes us more excited for our upcoming cruise!

Hi everyone! Is there room for a 7th FE-er? It's just me, DH and my 8 yr old son. We're in Cabin 5512 if it's ok.

We just booked our room for NYC. We're staying for 2 nights but my son has a list of places he wants to see that would take a week to accomplish, lol. We have 76 days before we step off the train to narrow it down to 3 or 4.

Hi my daughter is 19 and will be on this cruise. You will have fun:) just make sure you go the first night to the college social and be active in all activitives:banana: As for Dad I'm sure he will keep busy..

My thinking is that if I start packing now (really just putting stuff like sunscreen, bonine etc. aside) it will make those eleven weeks fly by! And budget-wise, it's a little easier to spread out the cost of all the incidentals.

Now I'm hoping that returning cruisers will start posting Navigators and menus for us all to obsess about!

I cant wait for this cruise to get here already:goodvibes I am so excited to just drive over the bridge and start our Disney vacation:cool1:

Happy and relieved to have booked excursions and activities. As first time disney cruisers it was so hard to wait until 75 days out. We were able to get everything we wanted! Very happy to have been able to get palo brunch for our anniversary! We even booked exotic rasul after reading the posts and reviews. We have never done any type of spa type treatment so I'm really looking forward to that! Online check in was a very smooth and simple process. Now to just wait it out! Can't get here soon enough.

Would like to be added to the FE group if that is ok. Just me and dh, John in cabin 7621.

Thanks

Can't wait for this cruise:goodvibes:cool1:. I haven't posted here in a while, will try to post more after my 2 night cruise
