How did your son do at the Championshios??

He swam in 6 events... dropped time in 4, added time in 1 (he was dead tired and it was last event of the meet - 100 Fly), and had a DQ in 1 event (he would have won that one; however, he was nailed for his turn - just one of those freaky mistakes). He was bummed about that, but he finished in the top 6 in 3 of the events. Overall - he did well.

Thanks,, it should be a good time we are going with another family our friends up the street our daughters are all BFF's. So it should be FUN...We all went together last year and it was FUN..This year we are all on the same plane so it will be nuts all three girls are freaking out that we are all flying down together this year!! The poor people who have to sit near these three girls!!

Hey Jen, how did Emily do in her competitions? I'm sure she did great! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Thanks for asking...they did GREAT! Her group took the following awards:
Tap = High Gold
Lyrical = High Gold
Jazz = Platinum and 1st place for their entire age category! This was exciting for them!

It has been LONG! Saturday was good...lots of errands including new running shoes. Today we were at the dance competition ALL DAY LONG!

Welcome aboard!!! I think we should have at least half the ship taken over LOL!

Well, although most of Northern VA would disagree with us, our family was happy to take it! We love the snow. It made for great pictures too. Especially during the blizzard when the snow was taller than my poor son!

So we have a room assignment now (7078 Category 5C) and looking at the map of the ship, it is right across from the elevators. I wonder if there will be a ton of noise or problems with people taking things off of our door? You'd think that second part would be an issue anywhere, but the noise could be worrisome since we will have a wee one (and quite possibly a Mommy or Daddy!) napping every day. We've never been next to the elevators so I don't know how bad the noise is!

Any thoughts?

I'm behind on the thread, is Jen on her way to WDW now? I'm here now on my Spring Break. we are at Kidani. It rained yesterday afternoon and this morning..... But other than that thecweather is great. A little chilly at night though.... Well I guess it wouldn't be chilly for those of you from Mn!!!!

On the Magic we thought we were far enough away from the elevators and still we'd hear the noise which really was tweens running and haveing fun. With this cruise we had to go back to the drawing board until we felt we gained a bit more space between us and the elevators.
