Good morning guys, aren't we all up early!

I am always up and on the computer at this time. I like to get up early...answer all my e-mails and check out all the DIS threads I respond to...and then go to work. My work day is so crazy that I usually can't get back on at all during the day so it is like my little treat to myself to have some peaceful time at the computer before everything goes crazy!

They cancelled school today so I should be sleeping in but they call my house to let me know that school is cancelled at 5:30AM! I would have rather found out at 7:00 when my daughter gets up.

Our actual temperature is 0°...but it is the wind that is the problem today. Our wind chill is making it feel like it is -20°. I think it is even worse where Erika is. I live fairly close to Minneapolis/St. Paul so in the cities there is not as much wind.

We don't close the schools though unless it is more like -30 to -40° wind chills...even then some of them stay open!

We had bad winds for the last week, but nothing like the cold temps. you all get. We have more snow today so that's why they closed school, I wonder if we'll be in school till July with all these days they are missing.

We had a bunch of snow too! Yesterday driving was insane!!!!

That is the good thing about living in Minnesota...we never cancel for snow and cold...but that means we never have any days of school to make up!

Unfortunately morning starts at 5:30 here. Dh out the door at 6:35, Ds out the door at 6:40 and dd out at 7:20. UGH! Wayyyyyy too early.

We are -3 right now. It is kinda windy, but not wickedly windy this morning. Funny, I was out on Wed and it was 15, and I couldn't believe how warm it was. Didn't need the gloves or anything! Very sad! Did you guys get much snow yesterday? We didn't even get enough to cover the sidewalk, almost none.

I noticed there were very few schools closed this morning. Windom and a couple others and that was it. Quite a few 2 hour delays, but not as many as I thought there would be, in southern MN. Yet all the highways are closed down there. I guess the busses don't travel on the highways?

Did you order it online or get it at the store? It looks good! I think I might have to go get one. I need to go to BBB anyway. Did you really take one of these on your cruises? That's a good idea. I didn't really realize you could do that (or think about it)

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe. Where I live it rarely snows, they are predicting a possible snow flurry or ice and have already delayed school 2 hours.

I am soooo excited that we got the phone call this morning that school has been delayed for 90 minutes due to snow......YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got to sleep in good thing since I was out with a bunch of friends last night and could use the extra sleep!!LOL!!!
