LOL, it is getting harder and harder to pull them out!!


I wish the DVC Cruise was not in Sept. If it was Oct. it would be easier to pull them out. Kind-of hard having them be in school for one week then taking them out for a Cruise!!!!!!

The very first one (to celebrate DVC's 10th year) was in April.... it was PERFECT in terms of time of the year....

Now that one would have been PERFECT!! Too bad my twins were only two months old then and we were not DVC members then...Darn!! I hope they do it one more time @ another time of year!!

So I have to ask. Since were will be at CC twice, what are everyone's plans?
in 2008 our youngest was too young to do anything else but hang out on the beach. We tried the paddle boats etc but were denied. Our oldest and DW did the stingrays.
This time we are going to take full advantage of the island.

We've done the jet ski eco tour in the past & our younger DS can do it now, too so we'll probably hit that up again.... parasailing perhaps... kayak adventure... apparently I'm racing in a 5K there?!? <lol>..... and otherwise just lounge around and enjoy!!

It's all about economics for DCL and DVC. Value season (i.e. hurricane season) makes the most sense from a $$$ perspective I assume..... It would be nice to have it during another time of the year though.

Did you get the info. from DVC that if you refer someone for the phone tour then you and them get a $25.00 Disney Gift Card??

I haven't even begun to plan that far ahead. Last time I never left my spot in the water. And I do NOT sit still, I like a moving vacation, but at CC I waded into the water and only came out to eat, all darn day. It was wonderful! But I realize I didn't see any of the island LOL, so this time I will at least look around some more.

OMG, I just went to a Tastefully Simple open house. 2 glasses of wine and a ton of food. I feel like a beached whale! I won a door prize though, for $65 worth of free product. Nice deal!!

Harry, we got an email and a flyer in the mail. We sent a friend today to do the phone tour. It said he member could refer four people for a total of $100.00 dollars in gift cards. The phone tour takes about 10-20 minutes and is totally no pressure the guides just explain DVC then that person you referred and yourself each get a gift-card!! Nice deal!! I'll take $100.00 dollars from the Mouse!!

I have heard about this, but I have never gotten anything myself.

Erika, and Harry, I can forward you the number to have friends/family that DVC wants them to call. All they have to do is give your name, and hometown/state, before they take the phone tour then they are in the system under your name and in about 20 minutes they are done and your gift-card is on its way!!

I still remember we stopped at a gas station to vaccuum out that car we had to rid all the sand we scooped in it from the beaches we went to and your DH saying no way, he brought the Jeep back and told the guy he should be ashamed of renting out a POS like that. Which of course could only be topped off by our server saying OMG that was you?

OMG, that's right, Wilson did see us didn't he? Do you know if he will be working on the Dream?
Steve did say that to the guy too, told him the jeep was a piece of crap! No way we would have vacuumed it out LOL, considering they gave it to us with standing water inside of it.

I want to do the bike ride, paddle boats, water trike...whatever I am sure Nancy will find stuff to do. I'll even do a spa if they have it LOL. I'm treating this as a hotel stay so may as well spend some cash and enjoy what they have to offer.

I was up before 5 AM at work at 6:30 AM conferences until 5 PM. When I got home, DD had planned on having the family go to see Alice in Wonderland (it was her turn to plan our family night).

Just got home from the movie (really liked it a lot ) and thought I would say hello before I head off to bed.

Maybe CC would be a good place for me to try the spa. I had a massage booked on our last cruise but when Omar switched things around, I ended up skipping it so I could see the show before we got to Nassau.
