Still suffering from post-vacation depression.

Sooner or later I have to upload our pictures. First we have to take a look at Photopass ones before they expire. Anyway.....have seen some of this group's photos posted on trip reports and Facebook - awesome!!

Also, we're planning a MR cruise for Jan. Anyone here been on a Disney MR cruise and want to share some advice/tips?

Me too! We are going to WDW for NYE and hopefully Spring Break!!
I'm waiting for the 2013 DCL dates to come out!!!!

Are you going to go to Aulani when you go to Hawaii?

Nope , Aulani is on Oahu island , the most famous and also ... touristy. It is in a BEAUTIFUL part of that island though - far from high-rising hotels/condo and such.
IMHO Aulani is a wonderful choice for a first time visitor ;
Marco and I will skip Oahu this time ( been there various times ) to visit OTHER , "true-Hawaiian" islands : we plan to visit the islands of Maui , of Kauai and of Hawaii ( or Big Island as it's the largest in the archipelago).

The more you visit those islands , the more you love "the Hawaiian" way of life and traditions !!!

I am always suffering from post vacation depression! Seems worse after a cruise for some reason. I think it's from missing the people. But since more time has passed, and I look at the prices for the cruises and the fear of what the 2013 prices may bring, I am not sure I am going to cruise again, at least with Disney for awhile.
I do NOT have my Disney trip for next year planned yet and it's freaking me out!!! With my son in college and my dd being a junior next year, it's totally messing with us. I guess we will have to be one of those school vacation-vacationers. Yuck to the crowds, but I guess I know how to manage them well enough, it will have to work!

I am dying to spend the 2nd October in a row without the F&W Festival though, I swear it gives me physical withdrawal symptoms LOL.

We are still suffering from Post-Vacation Depression. Even with WDW in just a few short weeks we are still missing the cruise, etc. and all of our GREAT friends!!

I agree Erika the Post-Depression is worse after the cruise!!

We've been doing the crowded school vacations too!!! It's better than not going at all though!! We usually go the week between Christmas and NYE and boy is it crowded!!!!!! But fun!! At least it's not like it's our one and only trip to the world, so if we don't get everything we want to do done it's not a big deal. We know we'll be back!!!!!! We are going on the 8th as well-- just 4 days, because I get Columbus Day off and no classes on Tuesday. Mainly it's to get our F&W and MNSSHP fix! Are you going to a MNSSHP? Our plan is for the 10th (must call DVC and get tix today!) We are staying at CSR this time. Where are you staying? Maybe we'll see you!

We usually go the week between Christmas and NYE and boy is it crowded!!!!!! But fun!! At least it's not like it's our one and only trip to the world, so if we don't get everything we want to do done it's not a big deal. We know we'll be back!!!!!! So far our plans are Sat Epoct/MK, Sun HS/MK, Mon Epcot/MNSSHP, Tues MK.

We're meeting up with some friends from FL--not sure if they are just coming for Sat night or if they will stay the whole weekend, so our plans are still up in the air somewhat.

We have been a few times for NYE and love the fireworks and the atmosphere in the park with the DJ and all. I think that's the 2nd most fun we've ever had on NYE with the kids. The best NYE with the kids was on the Wonder last year, that was a blast.

We are also going to do the Princess half in Feb. I got my mom on board so we're going to do it together. I made her run her first 5K at Disney last Oct. and now she's hooked.

It has been pretty cold the last few years, but we still had fun!!! Some of the days weren't too cold though.

Wow, has it been that long since anyone posted here?
Now that the 2013 Fantasy/Dream dates are coming out, is anyone rebooking?

I really don't know if we are interested or not, but I do have a dummy date that I at least need to move somewhere.

I really don't know if we are interested or not, but I do have a dummy date that I at least need to move somewhere.

We will be on the Fantasy's 08/25/12 cruise and the dummy date we booked on the Dream cruise we will be booking 06/29/13 which is also an Eastern Caribbean cruise. Apparently the Fantasy will be going to Puerto Rico in the early part of 2013, but I haven't been able to figure out (yet) if it will be going to PR in June.

Found out the Fantasy is only going to PR through April so we'll miss going back to PR on DCL.
