Here's the answer: No need to adjust your time needed at the airport if you are accompanied by someone on the do not fly list. Why? When asked by security about your plans, all you have to do is start belting out the Mickey song and you will be waved through. If you can't carry a tune (like my family) you'll get waved through even faster!

Great video Jeff. I'll show It to the kids in the morning over breakfast. Have fun at Universal and we look forward to seeing you on the ship!

That is what we will do on Monday! I will have the whole family start singing Disney songs....not to mention several of us will be wearing Mickey ears, all our luggage is labeled with Disney tags, we will be bouncing off the walls with excitement and they will just have to wave us all through as fast as possible! Poor DH!

Can't think of any good questions...too tired tonight!

When Bethany brought me yet another pile of stuff to "pack" I pointed out that she already had enough and we couldn't take the whole house.

She then asked why not!

Oh my....I have 4 large suitcases and 3 small suitcases. We will have 3 carry on bags to top it all off! Again...I think I need to weigh ours tomorrow because they are very full!

Part of my problem is that my great FE idea (which may not really be that great) is taking 2 suitcases. We also have 4 complete sets of snorkeling gear. I also have my rolling cooler folded in a suitcase for when we stop to buy beverages. There are pirate costumes, semi-formal clothing, huge wine glasses (really water glasses) that are packed carefully so they don't break to put my wine in when I go to dinner, and a million other "extra" type of things that take up so much room.

I have to learn how to cruise with less stuff!

I need to learn to pack less too!!! I'm not a good packer!!! Just ignore my email! I saw the answer!!

Bags are by the door, my FIL will be here at 5 AM. It is officially ITETS night!!!

Flight is at 8AM, hoped to be in Universal by lunch time.

Great video!! I love it! It's smoking HOT here!!! We went to IOa today and Uni Studios tonight!! The crowds weren't bad today....of course tomorrow is Sat. and I figure they will be worse!
We did get some pixie dust today when we checked in at HRH...we got upgraded to concierge!!!! I have the Hard Rock All Access pass and they upgrade us!!!

Today we will just be watching the minutes tick on by. DD wants to go to the video store to rent something. It is pretty cool here today and so laying around watching movies sounds like a good plan.

We've been staying inside too but because it's 100°+ here. I'm excited about the weather report @ Castaway because it will be so much cooler there.

To double quote you click on the quote button on the bottom right hand side, it will light up orange and then when you are ready to reply just hit the reply button and all your quotes should show up.
WE did go to HP, we ate at three broomsticks for lunch ( it was good and they gave a AAA discount!), tried both Butterbeers ( we liked the frozen better! But both were good), rode flight of the hippogRAF. DS rode dragon challenge. We are going to go back and ride Fj and look around some more tomorrow or Sun. We aren't huge HP fans but everything looks really cool! The crowds were not bad today! I think the wait for FJ was only 45 minutes at around 1:30 pm.

We are also packed and ready to go but don't leave until Monday am. Today I have to get through one last 13 hour workday. My poor co-workers are so sick of hearing about this cruise, and I have a feeling today I will not be able to stop talking about it!

My family checked 7 pieces of luggae at the airport..!!We are here and the weather is PERFECT!! Just saw the weather for the tropics and the storms seem to be moving out to sea!! YEAH!! Hope and pray they stay that way!! Off to a character breakfast then off to the BEACH AND THE POOL!! At the pool today we are having a Mini-Dis Meet

We just got on the road to Lorton and the Amtrak station. Only had to go back for something once!

Auto Train arrived at 7:45 - 75 minutes early . Only problem is that that station employees don't arrive until 8:15

Our plane leaves at 3 pm today. Have a little bit more packing this morning then arrange the packing cubes goblin the luggage and we see how many baggage fees we have to pay.

Nail salon is hopeful for today. Bills. House cleaning.

I am loving my packing cubes and loving my pack it flat toiletry kit even more!
Who knew? I use to take an entire carry on for toiletries, now, I am taking one small suitcase with clothes AND toiletries, gotta love it!

Well, we arived at Vero Beach on Thursday and we have been having a great time! So relaxing here. We are having a poolside meet this afternoon for whoever is here.

We did well with our luggage, no extra fees and we have an almost half empty bag that will hold stuff that we buy.

For those in my FE group, I am deeply sorry, but the box that I thought was shipped down last week, never made it out of the trunk of my nephews car!! My sister called me this morning and ask if this was important....YEAH! But she is at wrok until 4pm and with the weekend here it will never get here, and clear security before Tuesday! I never let anyone do that kind of stuff for me, but his Firehouse is across the street from the post office. I am very sorry ALL my FE stuff was in there! I have nothing to give!

My kids want to go rent a movie and they need me. I will write more later.

Safe travels for those of you leaving today. For those of you already there, I hope you are having great times! Don't forget to apply your sunscreen!

Kristin: good for you getting one less bag than you thought! I just remembered to put one of our empty DCL tote bags in the bottom of a duffle. I'm sure the FE stuff plus the disney "mommy can we have that?" trinkets will need to find a home in some sort of empty bag! I think we'll be checking at least 4 bags, maybe 5....

Mary: How awful for you about the FE gifts not making it out of your nephew's trunk! But you know what -- everyone understands! We'll be on the happy ship so I wouldn't worry about it.

And the answer about how many times we will ride the Aqua Duck. The VB twins plan on riding it a gazillion and then some. Okay, maybe not. Twenty times sounds about right!

We left NY on Thursday, we are in Vero Beach until Tuesday then drving up the coast to Port Canaveral!

Well after all that worry we made it to Lorton in less than 3 hrs!!
We ate lunch at zPizza in the strip mall near the station. Surprisingly good for non NY/Philly pizza!
Heading over to the station to check in!
