Travel day recap:

Got up at 4 AM, got to Newark Airport at 6:30, flight left on time at 8 AM.

There was a lot of turbulence, but it was still a pretty good flight. Southern Elegance got us over to CIS by Universal by a a little after 12.

Spent the day at Islands of Adventure, had a good time, but like Harry said a little tired from traveling so we at dinner at TGIFs and are now back at CIS showered and relaxing watching the Disney Channel.

An early breakfast at CIS tomorrow morning and then off to Universal Studios for the day.

Sounds like a fun day!

Hey All!

Spent a great night with family last night in Orlando. We made it down to Vero Beach this afternoon-- too late for the meet, but if we see any green lanyards around we'll say hi! The weather is great, and Vero is so nice! Can't wait to enjoy the pool and beach tomorrow!

Had a GREAT afternoon with Mary & Laurie's Families this afternoon!!

I am so tired from early morning traveling yesterday and not sleeping well last night.

We are lov'in the weather!!

Hope you get some much needed rest lounging around at Vero. You deserve it!
Yay that you are having great sunshine down there. It was off and on dreary/drizzly today at our house. The kids are climbing the walls waiting to hop on the plane Monday morning!

Hello all!!
I made back from camp and had a wonderful experience!! All the girls had a great time and no one got hurts, so I think it was a success!!

We spent the evening doing laundry and packing! Talk about stressful, but I think we figured out how to get everything in two bags and one carry on. Whew!!
We are heading out to AZ tomorrow, and flying out of Phoenix early Monday morning!! Can't wait to see everyone!!

Well, we finally made it yesterday, after a 2 hour delay. we arrived at 2:30 and Phillip's party was at 5:00. It was a mad dash but we finally got to the Lego store at 5:05. the party at the store was great except the air conditioning was broken! everything was great for our party in the villa too. Nome of the guests wanted to leave. Finally, at 11pm, Jeffrey told everyone, you don't have to go home but you have to get out of here.

So, after being up since 5am, the kids crashed.

Going to MK today and the kids are going to get the Pirates League done!

Martini, Wine, Tequila, Champagne, & Mixology

Wow...I just realized that's a lot of tastings...

We normally don't drink too much but really enjoy the tastings onboard because we get to try things we normally wouldn't

Yeah that is a lot of tastings but hey aren't you suppose to try new things on vacation? I'll probably see you at some of them. I've been done in by the martini tasting before. I've never done mixology & champagne tasting. Hmmm drinking around the Dream sound like a great plan.

Morning Everyone! I missed posting yesterday. DH and I were able to complete our 20 mile run in the morning...let's just say it was tough but we did it. Then, we drove a couple of hours south to my cousin's wedding and had a great evening. DS danced until he could dance no more. We all got back to the hotel room and crashed (well, sort of...the beds here are not good at all)!

This morning I checked us in for our flight! They even let me check in DH who is on the "Do Not Fly List"! I have never flown with SW so I have no clue how it works. Our boarding numbers range from A37 to A40. Don't know if that is good or bad at this point.

We will drive back home today and double check all our bags...including weighing them all. I think we will be having a quiet and restful day after a long weekend.

Sounds like all of you who are on vacation are already enjoying yourselves and that is great!

To all of us still trying to get to FL....safe travels and I can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow!

Thanks Chuck! That is what we were hoping it meant. I was impressed that we were able to get such low numbers since I didn't pay for the early bird check in.

Your day sounds like ours. We ran to get cat food on the way home and now we will be putting some last things in the bags, weighing all the suitcases and then watching Disney movies to pass the rest of the day.

Hopefully the hours will pass quickly!

You are lucky to have gotten A's. I checked in right at 24 hours and got B's. I hate that there are no assigned seats. We need 6 seats and prefer to be in front/back of each other to manage all 4 kids. With B's, it is uncertain if that will happen. I may have to board when they call for young kids. I could always get an A before they allowed people to pay for early bird checkin. It would cost me $120, so we didnt pay for it. I love SW and have been flying them for years, but next trip (Feb) we are switching to Jetblue so we wont have any stress about the seating.

I am sorry that you ended up with B boarding passes. I did not want to pay for the early bird check in either so I was really worried. I still am thrilled we are flying SW because I figure that I am saving even more by being able to have 2 checked bags each as well. We will be checking SEVEN pieces of luggage and I would have had to do many things different if we were paying for the luggage.
