Hope has a sinus infection so no big Deal big still one mord thing

Dr. Told him he has vertigo he has had it before so they gave him the meds. I am in need of a serious Vacation now!!

How was it being on a cruise over Thanksgiving? Was the ship decorated for Christmas? I'm very curious!!!

Everything was decorated: terminal, Atrium, Castaway Cay. Very pretty!
We actually felt like we missed something by not being home on Thanksgiving. I think we would have felt differently if we were traveling with extended family.

OK, here's us...this is what my DH hopes to have in his hands often :lovestruc

We've changed our dress up night outfits to shirt/tie with Navy chinos for the men, Megan and I will be in dresses (knee length). Daniel has to borrow a tie from my brother (who owns this tie from our last cruise) so he matches Jim...looks like he's outgrown the kid one.:rotfl2:

Great pictures!! My husband loves a good Guinness too!!

Thanks everyone! Once again, I think it is resolved (well I still have almost no income so I have that stress) but the other part is supposedly settled again. It's kinda hard to go into, maybe over a drink (or two or three)...

Erika - Glad to here that it is resolved. The no income deal is a bit of a bummer but vacation is almost here and we can have a drink together and forget MN for a while! :goodvibes

Ditto to all that! Except for the scrapping, I do that alot! Wow you guys are chatty, I can't even leave to go grocery shopping! I might have to bring my laptop with me to Disney just to keep up. :)

It is hard to keep up at this point. I am going to be gone all weekend and know that I am just going to have to accept that it is okay to skim the posts and not respond to them all! ;)

Can I scream now?? Ohh to pick Bruce up from work he is feeling dizzy and thinks he might have vertigo...UGH!! Between, my mom, Hope and now him...I am ready to scream!!:scared1::scared1:

How many days until you leave? Please tell Hope to get better (hopefully she has some medicine now). Please tell Bruce to take his meds. I am going to pick up Ben's meds for vertigo tomorrow.

I am sorry you have had a stressful sort of day. I know that vacation must come soon for all of us!!!

aww, thanks!! it's always nice when someone appreciates your hard work. I think it's such a nice remembrance of our family time together, and we love going back and looking at them again and again...

Oh No!!! But hey, looking at the bright side, looks like I'm off the hook for the CC5K.. :rolleyes1

I couldn't handle The Andersons lapping me on a one lap course anyway. Seriously though, I sure hope he feels better quick. :thumbsup2

Per Wikipedia...

Motion sickness is one of the biggest symptoms of vertigo and it develops most often in persons with inner ear problems. The feeling of dizziness and lightheadedness is often accompanied by nystagmus. This is when the eyes rapidly jerk to one side and then slowly find their way back to the original position.

Hey, I can help here. This is actually something I have experience in. Hundreds of sobriety tests later, I can spot nystagmus easy. :3dglasses

Fortunately for Bruce, this will be a "catch and release" type of operation, as long he's not steering the ship :sail: LOL I'll bring along some cuffs just in case.

Great pictures!! My husband loves a good Guinness too!!

Believe it or not, it was a bacon beer (we were at a microbrew pub in Needham, MA over Memorial Day). He had to try it! He's scary, he tries so many different beers and he can remember one from the other-this one is really hoppy, that one had a such and such aftertaste...I don't know how he does it! If he ever hit the lottery he's quitting his job and brewing beer. There were a bunch of job postings at Dogfish Head recently but we thought Delaware was a bit of a commute from Connecticut.:rotfl2:

Hi Everyone...

I still need to find rental car (SUV if possible) from MCO to Port Canaveral. The rates that I found are very high :(

I'm wondering if you can share the code that you find the cheapest for any rental car agencies. Thanks so much!

I used Priceline on a trip about a month ago... got a great deal. Kept on bidding each day until my bid was finally accepted.

Whoo Hoo! Running at CC with Bruce and Randy! :yay: Just so you guys know....I run slow and steady. It is 3.1 miles so it will take me 31 minutes - maybe even longer with the heat. Maybe faster...but I doubt it. I really like 10 min/mile pace. :rolleyes1

Hey Jen-- Do you know what time the CC 5K meets? I'm hoping it is pretty close to 8:30 (our listed arrival time) both to avoid the heat and make sure to have have as much island time as possible! At least CC is flat flat flat!

9:00 meet & 9:15 start - at least that's what is on recent Navigators.

Bruce, says to tell you it might take him 35-40 minutes with hills. Where he runs it is full of hills!!
